Sharron Angle, a Nevada Republican and tea-party favorite, will endorse Rick Santorum. She issued the following statement to National Review Online:
Rick Santorum and I have known each other for years. He is a strong fiscal and social conservative who stands on principles above politics. He has never wavered in his support for family values understanding the impact that strong families have on a prosperous economy.

Ping!
Great news!
BTW, Arizona and Michigan are also having their delegate counts cut in half this year.
How would that effect Newt/Rick?
clearly a RINO..how can she pick anyone but the second coming known as Newt
Angle is big in the Reno/Carson city area.
:-)
Santorum just picked up 11 votes there!
Santorum can pick up votes in the Northern Nevada area. That’s Sharron Angle country. She owns Douglas County and Carson City.
Amazing, isn't it? 2 years ago, Angle was the darling of the Tea Party and Newt was personna non grata for endorsing uber-RINO Dede Scozzafava. Now anyone who backs Newt's opponent must be somewhere to the left of Trotsky.
Angle country is Douglas County, Carson City and Washoe County. Those are the tree biggest counties in Northern Nevada. Once you get out into the sticks, there’s a lot of Ron Paul country out there.
I remember Angle running against Ensign, and being down badly. All of a sudden, the vote tallies start coming in from Douglas County and Washoe County. She lost the race by a miniscule amount of votes. It was under a hundred. It’s a big area for Nevada.
Heh heh...prepare for the flaming. Tonight I’ll just watch. They’re almost as rabid as Paulistas.
Well, Newt nailed down the Lindsay Graham endorsement on Greta tonight...
Unless Santorum has leapfrogged Newt in Nevada, and I haven’t seen any polls yet, this is bad news. We should be rallying around the candidate most likely to defeat Romney.
As a local I have seen Sharon in action many times, at the legislature, and in campaign mode.
I think her sun has sat, she has passed her peak, her influence is waning.
She still has some die-hard fans, but their number is diminishing.
Yes, sir. I don’t know if Santorum can top that Graham endorsement. :-) /sarcasm.
