As the rampant speculations that Israel will soon launch a military strike against Iran's nuclear facilities continue, a report on NBC on Friday revealed what such an attack may look like.
The report, the main points of which were presented by Israel's Channel 10 News, is based on conversations the American network held with current and former officials in Israel and the United States. The report suggests that an attack on Iran will combine air and ground forces but will not include naval forces.
The officials interviewed said that the attack will be led by the Israeli artillery, which will use Jericho 2 missiles that have a range of 2,500 kilometers. The report also says the artillery will be assisted by F-15i aircraft and Israeli unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
The officials also told NBC that the operation will include ground units, but that they will not be involved in the actual attacks, focusing instead on marking targets or collecting intelligence.

This breathless Israeli attack speculation has “continued” for, oh, only about five freaking years now.
I’m hoping it materializes someday, but I’ll believe it when I see it.
Why wouldn’t Israel use its submarines ?
I agree.
And it’s just killing them (msm) that they don’t know ‘when’ or ‘how’, hence the ‘speculation’..
How dare the Israelis’ not inform them of their intentions.
How will they ever ‘warn’ Iran without the ‘inside’ information?
God Bless Israel and her allies, in the fight with any country that threatens Israel
I think any public reports about how they will do it is nothing more than speculation. If the Israelis use submarines, only they will know, not some Canadian analyst.
The attack will look like this.
Systems Administrators in Iran will start shutting things down. Chances are they are Israeli sleepers anyway. Israel commandos, who have been in Iran for months will take out key political and religious figures. In addition, key figures will be taken out in Syria, Gaza, Lebanon and Europe.
Israel will then blind Iranian radar with something technologically brilliant. It will only be for a minute or two, just enough to tell Iran something is amiss.
Two submarines will surface in the gulf. Each will launch 1 missile. The first will target the Revolutionary guards command and control center. The second will target a weekly status meeting between scientists and the guards.
It will be over in 1/2 hour. Israel will deny responsibility.
Message sent.
One thing for sure, Iran will not try to “defeat” anybody on the battlefield, sea or air. They’ll try but will succumb very quickly.
Primarily, they will retaliate by bombarding the oilfields and oil industry from Iraq to Bahrain. Theyll use mainly short-range surface-to-surface missiles and put the Gulf’s western seaboard on fire for months to come.
Even if Israel attacks alone, our cowardly President won’t apologize fast enough to stop Iran from attacking US assets and the Arab countries who allowed Israeli planes safe passage and/or air bases.
This is the most publicized “secret” attack since Attila the Hun made early restaurant reservations in Rome for 50,000.
Watch for Chicom or South Korean diplomatic personnel quietly urging the departure of business people from Teheran holding their respective citizenships and passports. Very quietly but rumors will leak. Then “show time” should not be that far off. When the final ‘essentials’ from their embassies padlock things and redploy to say Gulf nations or India or what not, it will be the Eve of the Main Event.
Is that *you*, Tom Clancy? :-)
Gee, Mr. Imanutjob, you say your oil refinery just caught fire? And that it was totally destroyed? We're so sorry, Mr. Imanutjob, but clearly we had nothing to do with it.
Barry being schlepped off the golf course kicking and screaming will be another clue.
