Obama’s statement on Syria’s deadly violence in Homs

Thirty years after his father massacred tens of thousands of innocent Syrian men, women, and children in Hama, Bashar al-Assad has demonstrated a similar disdain for human life and dignity. Yesterday the Syrian government murdered hundreds of Syrian citizens, including women and children, in Homs through shelling and other indiscriminate violence, and Syrian forces continue to prevent hundreds of injured civilians from seeking medical help. These brutal killings take place at a time when so many Syrians are also marking a deeply meaningful day for their faith. I strongly condemn the Syrian government’s unspeakable assault against the people of Homs and I offer my deepest sympathy to those who have lost loved ones. Assad must halt his campaign of killing and crimes against his own people now. He must step aside and allow a democratic transition to proceed immediately.

They couldn’t exercise their First Amendment Rights because they didn’t have the Second Amendment to back it up.

Change 30 years to fifteen, and every place is says Assad substitute Taliban. Now read that statement over again and then think about Obama trying to cut a deal with those that subjugate women, destroy historical sites, and blow up schools.

Polutico doesn't bother to mention that the thousands that Hussein senior killed were mostly convicted Muslim Brotherhood Islamic terrorists and their unapprehended brothers engaging in insurrection.

Polutico also doesn't mention how civil the Muslim brotherhood became in Syria after Hussein's action. They moved to Egypt and killed a couple of Presidents because they felt unwelcome in Syria.

You either oppose the Muslim Brotherhood and the World Caliphate, or you support them. Polutico stands where Obama stands.

Obama’s only regret is he cannot give the Assad Treatment to Americans without provoking a Civil War 2. Then, again . . . AG Eric Holder might just start one following his boss’ orders.

Obama is a Realpolitik Muslim Marxist—his goal is the destruction of Jewish Israel and the subjection of Christian America and like that other Hussein Saddam he will pit one nonsecular faction against another until they are both too weak to resist his secular tyranny.

For Heaven's sakes, where did he get the name “Hussein” anyway? Saddam was the perfect Islamic Marxist in the Nasser tradition that took a primitive savage faith and redirected it into promoting Russian interests in the disguise of “Jihad.”

Thanks ColdOne. Election year, so Zero wants to sound tough. His next move will be to condemn Israel AGAIN for something it has every right to do.

When Obama was born Saddam Hussein was an up and coming commisar in the communist Ba’ath Party of Iraq—much like all the other Red Diaper babies named after Woodrow, Franklin,Alger,Walter,Albert,Willard,Jimmah and soon Barrack, their Christening bore the same solemn expectations of duty to perdition as their namesakes.

Just sayin’

Obama’s policy of appeasement and camel-kissing is going to get a lot of good people killed, unfortunately.

The Arab Spring is non-existent; it is a term that the naive of the academic world conjured up to make itself feel good. There are no revolutions in the Arab World, only civil wars. Revolutions in the Arab world are akin to elections in the United States—the only thing that changes is who gets to pick your pocket or hold the boot over your neck.

Sorry. I didn’t write enough.

I meant our people getting killed.

Bingo. This “Arab Spring” invention in the media is nothing more than Sunni/Shiite real politic leveling their respective playing fields. The media isn’t erudite enough to figure this out.

“Thirty years after his father massacred tens of thousands of innocent Syrian men, women, and children in Hama, Bashar al-Assad has demonstrated a similar disdain for human life and dignity.”

And what he didn’t say was:

“And for a long time, previous U.S. administations, my administration, friends of mine in and out of government, U.S. political leaders from both sides of the aisle, and myself, all failed to admit that the events of today in Syria are not the consequences of the actions of the Syrian people in their protests. This behavior of the Syrian government was written into the DNA, and the entire methdology of governing by the dictators in Syria. The naive pretense by all of us that engagement could change that DNA is tragic, and because of that we apologize to the people of Syria for the strength and confidence our naivete gave to their dictators for far too long.”
