I *think* he was trying to say what I have been thinking. The GOP isn’t going to stand by and allow Santorum to get away with this hat trick. They’re going to come out with the long knives as they did to Newt.
I’m hoping they will finally sit back on their heels and take notice that we are not going to take it and lay off Santorum. Otherwise, Obama will be elected. Many of us are not voting for Romney. They continue to force him down our throats at their own peril.

He does. People are about to start hearing it. He's been a "Silent Cal," and I suspect he'd make that kind of POTUS as well. Admittedly, there's a lot more substance than style which is why he's had some trouble getting traction, but now people are paying attention, and the whole dynamic is about to change.
I believe I'm close to having this addiction cured..

Santorum gave a great speech tonight, presidential and inspiring—the best of any candidate thus far. Maybe his “dull” days are over.
Drudge is just sickening. He actually put the popular vote totals up on the top of his page, just so he could show Romney in the #1 position of something. Oh, but, he’s not biased, he just follows the “trends,” which is why he’s showcasing the popular vote, something no one else in the media has even mentioned tonight? Right, Levin, right.
I’ve quit going to his site, too. Done with him for the past week.

My friend in Colorado said their family had gotten 8 Romney calls, 1 Gingrich call and no Santorum calls. Yet their county went heavily Santorum. People are waking up to the truth about the Romney-fraud!!
As a Santorum supporter, tonight was a great night.

I think what people are missing considering the 2008 vote is that (apparently from what I’ve read here) Romney was being pushed as the conservative alternative to McCain at that time by people like Rush and even by Santorum himself. So that’s the tricky thing, Santorum is actually competing with Newt to fill the same role in some of these states that Romney filled last time.
