The media? At least 3/4 of FR, including JimRob, has been telling us Newt was the only valid alternative to Mitt.

You sure are rude. Not exactly sure why you are attacking everyone.

Rick giving his speech live now.

Low voter turnout and btw...how many delegates does Little Ricky have now? wait until he is vetted before the public and the next REAL election in MO. Debate on Feb 28th. Lots of folks I talked to said they wanted Newt on the Mo ballet...voted for Santorum to block Romney. A vote for Santorum is a vote for Romney...Little vest man ain’t going nowhere...take that to the bank

So you can’t understand why “Newtbots” aren’t too upset (as in “take that”) when Santorum beats Newt in a caucus when he wasn’t even on the ballot officially?

And you denigrate the intelligence of others?

PS The owner of this site is a “Newtbot.” I’m sure he might be happy to explain it to you...

Wow...over-reaction or what.

Simply stating the fact. What...you can’t handle fact?

Are you from Missouri? Did you see the polls last week? What part of my comment is ‘pathetic’ (to you)?

You jab at Newt supporters and call my post pathetic...wow you vote too. How depressing.

Nice broad brush you have there. Any other thoughts on “Freepers” you would like to share?

Missouri is sometimes extremely close in November. Stevenson carried it by less than 4,000 votes in 1956 and Kennedy by less than 10,000 in 1960. Nixon took it in 1968 by the relatively wide margin of 20,000 votes. McCain edged out Obama there in 2008 by just under 4,000 votes.

How many of those were decided by voter fraud, I don't know. GWB carried it both times despite Jesse Jackson's shenanigans to keep some polling places open later than they were supposed to be (I forget if that was in 2000 or 2004).

Missouri got to vote for President before it was officially admitted to the Union--it voted in the 1820 election (all of its votes went to Monroe, who won the electoral college 231 to 1), even though it wasn't officially a state until August 1821.

“Hopefully, he won’t just inherit the crap storm from the lamestream and gop elite.”

On moral/social conservative issues, Rick is the real deal. So, they will pillor him for being anti-choice and anti-homosexual. If Santorum can win, I’m all for it. I’m primarily a moral/social conservative myself. I support Newt because I think he is more balanced and likely to get elected. However, I would love to have Santorum run and win. Right now, he is doing the party a favor by blunting Romney’s recent wins.

I started out w/Cain and went to Newt after Cain exited; so, I guess that makes me an official NewtBot at this point. That said, Rick did extremely well tonight and deserves accolades for his multiple stellar performances!

I heard it reported this morning that both Newt and Rick had agreed they would both stay in the race until the convention and had arrived at some sort of truce/detente/whatever. Hopefully, that is correct and they can both keep their “guns” leveled on Team Mitt.

Good Job Rick!!!

GO NEWT!!!

Seriously, I give up. There was a time when Freepers were actually above average intelligence. You’ve done a good helping to prove its no longer the case.

Now, that right there is funny, folks.

Especially since Santorum, like any other candidate who comes out of the box trolling for the evangelical vote, is trying to appeal to the bottom 10% of the electoral IQ spectrum.

Such candidates are just as fake as the TV preachers they emulate.

Their primary awards no delegates to the convention.

Delegates will be selected later by another process.

Gingrich didn't even put up the $1000 filing fee.

Just like little Ricky (affectionately), I hope Newt gather himself and start kicking ass and go down fighting if he has to... because there may not be a chance like that again for him

So... I AM HAPPY FOR SANTORUM, and PROUD he is fighting like there is not tomorrow...

To Newt, recharge your batteries, and let it rip... just go down fighting if you must... give your all, that is all I ask of you. GO NEWT, GO RICK!

GO "Real" CONSERVATIVES GO!... (fiscal + moral values) and DOWN with the LEFTIES (ESTABLISHMENT) of the Republican party.

I WILL N-E-V-E-R VOTE For FLIP-FLOPPER...EVER!...

I suggest we control ourselves and hold our fire against both Newt and Santorum.

I’m for Newt but I’m glad Santorum beat Romney. If Santorum can actually get some momentum and beat Romney, I will be grateful.

If Newt can make a comeback on super Tuesday, I will be more grateful.

But I’m not gonna slam either of them right now.

We need to be slamming Obama.

LOL, at least you don't have to worry about someone coming along and destroying you on this topic. You already took care of that.
