...the 2012 election is looking more like a replay of 2008 than a do-over.
The latest WND/Wenzel Poll shows...one in five GOP voters leaning toward support of Obama in November....
Obama also has made tremendous inroads on enemy territory against each of the four Republicans, winning roughly 20 percent support among conservatives and even those who consider themselves to be very conservative.

It isn't called World Nut Daily for nothing.
And I wouldn't bother to pay any attention to any so-called poll that I can't link to. Why didn't WND provide us with the poll's internals?
Is it a poll of registered voters? Average citizens who "self-identify" as Republicans? We don't know.
Then they are NOT conservatives.
That's a might big "if", though. Would you answer a poll in complete honesty, right now... or would you use the opportunity to put a shot across the GOP's bow?
We may not be delighted with our primary election choices, but I suspect these numbers will look different after the convention. Even if Romney prevails.
Difference being a pubbie congress will have more sway over Mitt than odumbo.
well,, half the people on Free Republic aren’t voting if Rommey is the candidate, so in effect they are voting for Obama....just sayin....
The election is 9 months away and we are 6 months from the general election campaign even starting. At this point in time, George W Bush was way down in both elections as was Bill Clinton in 1992 and Reagan in 1980.
Heck, just 2 months ago, Rick Santorum was polling at about 1%, behind Jon Huntsman, Michele Bachmann, and Rick Perry.
I am certainly worried about the prospect of Obama getting reelected, but I wouldn’t really stress over it until after Labor Day at least.
Following the Wikipedia link......He was responsible for some brilliantly funny setups....Too bad we don’t have too many like him on our side.
If 20% are, this country needs to go down in flames. If they are that ignorant we do not deserve a country and deserve whats coming.
This is purely the fault, in my opinion, of Mitt Romney. No matter which of the early candidates one might have favored, these marginal republicans have watched them savaged by the Romney Slime machine and its minions.
Rather than support that, they have turned away in disgust.
The Republican Party had better wise up quickly.
Let me repeat. I will NEVER vote for Romney...not in primary and not in general. I am certain that I am not the only one who believes this.
Now there’s a name from the past.
20% of GOP want Obama even “those who are conservative or VERY conservative”???
What are they doing, just making things up now?
The primary has devolved into mudslinging because of Romney. He should. Dropout now. Of course, i think he’d rather see Obama win another four years than to see him lose to Newt or Santorum. Romney is, afterall, a Rat in Republican clothing.
This is hugh and series!!!!! But we won’t really know until Debka confirms this. /snicker
Triple Dog Dare Ya BS
who did they poll?
the non Tea Party GOP members of congress?
the “republicans” who were asked who they would vote for if Willard is not nominated?
[ Maybe these folks figure Romney will be the nominee, so they might as well vote for Obama. Whats the difference? ]
Maybe the 20% are all preppers who are all done prepping and want to vote for obama so they can get the “re-set” over with while they sit in their bunkers eating canned beans while the rest of the country burns.
[ If Obummer wins the nomination, itll basically guarantee that well never have another President after him.
Not that hell take over everything. Its just the country will basically collapse.
Mitt Romney represents the same death, only itll be more of a whimper than a bang. ]
Sounds like the “Screw it, I wanna pull the band-aid off fast” contingent. Sad thing is if we get Romney, I wouldn’t really blame them....
