Stunned Americans are asking, "Why would Obama, in an election year, boldly trash the first amendment, forcing Catholic institutions to provide birth control, abortion drugs, and other contraceptive services which go against their faith?" These baffled, naïve people still do not get it. First and foremost, Obama is a hardcore leftist hater of America as we know it. He is laser-focused on implementing his vowed fundamental transformation of America into a socialistic, secular-progressive Disneyland

At the moment it is Tim Thomas of the Boston Bruins, imho.

Refused to visit the White House, stood with the Catholic Church against Obama’s mandate.

I may be prejudiced, but I think Gingrich is our hero.
It would be such a shame if America shuns such a hero.

America has more than its share of heroes. They're being ignored.

For a single example, remember the ROV operators that shut down the BP Deep Horizon blow out? Ever see or hear anything else about them?

It's not in the interest of our elitist media to promote our successes or our heroes.

Yes Rubio will be my hero if he is honest enough to say this when he is floated to be the VP or pres -
‘I am honored but no thank you because I am not a natural born citizen and not eligible to be the pre or VP’

Our country was founded on ideas, not hero worship.

Instead of looking for a hero, we need to rally around a set of ideas, then get behind people that will implement those ideas. And, if they don't implement those ideas, we should drop them and get behind someone else.

Yes we will all be heroes if we fight to keep our Constitutional Republic.
Some of us are doing it. We still need a leader leading all the heroes.

Who is the leader?

Where have all the good men gone and where are all the gods?
Where's the streetwise Hercules to fight the rising odds?
Isn't there a white knight upon a fiery steed?
Late at night I toss and I turn And I dream of what I need.
I need a hero.
I'm holding out for a hero 'til the end of the night.
He's gotta be strong.
And he's gotta be fast.
And he's gotta be fresh from the fight.
I need a hero.
I'm holding out for a hero 'til the morning light.
He's gotta be sure.
And it's gotta be soon.
And he's gotta be larger than life.
Larger than life.
Somewhere after midnight.
In my wildest fantasy.
Somewhere just beyond my reach.
There's someone reaching back for me.
Racing on the thunder and rising with the heat.
It's gonna take a superman to sweep me off my feet.

No matter how I try, I don't see Romney when I read or listen to these lyrics. I see President Ronald Reagan. I see Governor Sarah Palin. After a few drinks, I might even see Newt - barely. But Romney? Sorry, but we need a hero.

We had a hero his name was Rick Perry but look what was done to him.

Because of his very recent back surgery he was not as fast and in much discomfort in his first two debates. He was the most conservative on all fronts.

He stepped down ( knew when to fold them) and endorsed Newt Gingrich immediately.

Newt Gringrich is now our hero no not let those that destroyed Perry's chances destroy Newt's chances.

obama is licking his chops to run against anyone except Newt.

The "hero" is here.

The "hero" is THE AMERICAN PEOPLE.

We must restore the concept that power goes upwards from the people to their representatives, and not downward from Government On High.

“hero” is the term used by the author. I am really thinking of America needing a ‘leader’.

Who is that leader?

Why would he? Because he can and he knows no one will stand up to put a stop to it. Half the voting population have bought into his lies if for nothing else but to get freebies. Same goes for our large corporations. Our SCOTUS is in full “evading” mode and tells the world our Constitution is old and outdated. Our Congress can’t pull themselves away from the koolaid stand. The Treasury has been reduced to a play money printing Kinkos. Homeland Security won’t do anything about terrorist cells already established here and allow more and more to come in to the country. ICE can’t find an illegal in a protest parade. Our schools are dumbing down. America is on the fast track to Third World status.

No, American doesn't need another hero.

America needs citizens who are real citizens, not illegals seeking to rape the riches of this country.

America needs to relearn what shame means; shame in laying about and taking public assistance when you are able-bodied.

America needs to relearn what real work means - work that is honest for a tendered paycheck not signed by Hussein Obama.

America needs to recognize its states are the strength of this nation - not an over-bloated, pandering federal government that exists to leech off Americans' work and call it revenue, as if they actually worked for it.

America needs to respect traditional religion that has been part-and-parcel of the good this country brings - Islam is not one of those.

America - the Federal Government - Needs to stop trying to mutate and repurpose the words of our Founding Fathers. Words mean things; our God-inspired Founding Fathers were very, very specific in their lexicon.

American doesn't need another hero. America needs a hard-working man/woman that isn't out to rule us, that isn't out to control our work, wealth, treasure and blood, that isn't about a Democrat's definition of fair.

An American that actually believes in God.

We need leaders as much as we need heroes. Or maybe they would be the same. At this point in time we have none.
