The United States can no longer reign supreme as the worlds sole superpower, says Zbigniew Brzezinski, President Jimmy Carters National Security adviser and a prolific foreign affairs scholar.
The era of global supremacy by a major power . . . is over, he tells Yahoo.
The world is now much more diversified. There is now the new East in Asia. There is now a globally, politically awakened population.
But that doesnt mean the demise of the United States, as long as were willing to make some changes, Brzezinski, says.
We have to accustomize ourselves to that world. If we want to compete in it, we have to revitalize ourselves.
When it comes to China, the United States must accept its rising power, he says. But we can certainly compete more effectively if we do a lot of thing internally to reawaken creativity, confidence, and even the moral significance of America in the world.

Exactly. I remember this bunch telling us that we were just going to have to accept the fact of a Soviet Union as a co-equal superpower.
We should listen to a man who sat there for 444 days and let our embassy staff be guarded by a bunch of radicals who had nothing but threat to put in front of them, tell us how to handle a serious situation?
This man is not to be trusted to control even the slightest situation. He, certainly, is nobody to listen to with regard to a warlike situation. He just does not have what it takes to be a Secretary of State. Now he is not and should not be listened to.
Said the same thing pre-Reagan. Never was more than a five watt bulb in a 220 socket.

While there can be no denying the harm that has been done to the republic by progressives like this Zbig slimeball and the onerous administration that was a part of, I submit that his victory dance is premature.
FU ZBIG
ZBig is the POS whose policy funded and instigated the Islamic Revolution of 1979.
That’s the problem with lefties-all of their schemes seem to involve the undoing of America. If only they could annunciate a positive vision for this country, which is really the only country in the world with the drive and imagination to make their doofus utopias realities. Just as well that they can’t, though; none of their ideas are worth much, anyway.
And this was the Democrats’ plan all along...
And I bet he did everything in his power throughout his career to make it so. But he can’t hold a candle to The One.
In your dreams, Brzezinski.
And my little triangle of a country had better get hip to that new reality. Stop letting POTUS boss us around, and start finding regional allies, such as South Sudan, India, Egyptian Copts, Syrian Alawites and Christians after Assad, Iranian Baluchis, Kurds, Armenians, etc. We’re not alone here. We’re an eastern minority. There are other eastern minorities, and it’s time we all banded together for mutual protection from the Islamofascists, both Shiite and Sunni. Uncle Sam doesn’t rule here anymore.
Despite Brzezinsky totally, but that’s life.
Did he say that before or after he said, “mission accomplished”?
Is he complaining or bragging?
Oh. Wait. Urkel is finishing the job Mr. Peanut started so he's obviously bragging.
As well a former Carter adviser should well know. Fortunately for the U.S., we had Ronald Reagan to repair the mess Carter made. Unfortunately, I don’t think we’re going to have an Obama’s Reagan, given the current crop of weak-livered Republican candidates. Newt is probably the closest thing we’ve got right now, and he’s no Ronald Reagan.
