Beck will be interviewing Santorum tomorrow. I wonder how that will go. Big chance for Santorum to really screw it up tomorrow, in my opinion anyhow.

I agree...kind of obvious in both incidents...but good debate, I think.
Debates are a forum to get our attention but I don’t think people should decide based on this contrived forum.

Have to tell you...I have tears in my eyes because I want Newt to win this so bad. Can't imagine anyone that listens to this brilliant man that has a record of so many great accomplishments would pick any other candidate. Newt is our true hope and knows how to get it done.

God help America! if Newt is not the nominee it will be very difficult for me to get behind Santorum or Romney because I view them both as rinos. The type of people the Tea Party fought to get rid of..so, I feel a little sad tonight.

Newt won it with me when he nailed Obama as the xtremist who supported infanticide!

How do you know any vote you cast is counted? Precincts lose ballot boxes after all. It’s always a gamble.

I give Romney -5 deduction for going off on a tangent and failing to answer the last question and then making a smart ass remark about it when King tried to steer him back. It seemed pretty tacky.

Megadittoes to the 10th degree.

Some of this is bringing out the worst character aspects of some Freepers, it is sad and actually unsettling to see. Obamnoids and DU types who lurk here must absolutely love it.

I realize it is politics and "ain't beanball", fine, but they can be so petty and shallow (I wonder if even some of them are of age), I still believe it is bound up in the safety of being able to project in cyberspace and hide behind one's keyboard anonymity, and talk as big as General Douglas MacArthur.

Newt’s optional flat income tax plan at 15% is a better conservative solution, but I do understand your point.

Santorum is not ready for Obama. He took the CNN bait and they reeled him in like sloppy catfish.

Apparently Santorum’s hindsight isn’t any clearer that his visions of the future.

Little Ricky got trounced tonight. I actually thought he did modestly well for the first half or so, but as the night wore on, he just broke down. Obongo would snap him like a twig.

Newt was the man of the night, but I don’t know if this is a case of too little, too late for his candidacy. There are a lot of social conservatives who will probably hang on to Santorum.

I’m starting to wonder how much longer Romney can get away with his invincible plastic man schtick. John King called him out for rambling aimlessly at the end, and his response was so lame that even the Romney-stacked audience booed him. He also had a number of meltdowns.

Ron Paul needs to go away.

Yeah Romney and his Bain Capital and his Romneycare are going to be so effective against Obama (super extreme sarcasm). Seriously in what delusional world do you live?
