Obama Has Already Lost, and He Doesn't Even Know It
American Thinker ^ | February 24, 2012 | David Coughlin

Barack Obama is a lame-duck president already, but he probably doesn't realize it since he is surrounded by leftist zealots who insulate him from any contrary opinions and shielded by the partisan mainstream media. Obama's popularity began falling right after his election, and the percentage disapproving has exceeded those approving steadily since 2009. Each and every voting bloc that supported him in 2008 has eroded by at least 10 points -- even the African-American voters, with independents and young voters dropping by over 30 points. Approval on major issues (economy, budget, deficit, employment, etc.) has also eroded, with disapproval exceeding approval ratings across the board.

Despite approval ratings lower than any president's in recent history, the media push-polls are trying to sell us the idea that Obama is well liked and has a good chance to be re-elected, meanwhile ignoring any and all facts that do not support their partisan message. The good news is that there has been a mass awakening of the American people, who now realize that the mainstream media has a decided leftist tilt and that media polls can no longer be trusted.

Meanwhile, Democrats want us to believe that Obama has been a tremendous success. He promised to redistribute our wealth, and he has begun. He promised to transform our health care system, and he passed ObamaCare. He promised that his energy policies would dramatically increase energy costs, and they have. He promised to appoint justices who think like he does to the Supreme Court, and he has. He promised to pull American troops out of Iraq, regardless of the situation on the ground, and he has. He made many promises that he is trying...

--snip--

Now that American voters have finally woken up, their opinion is that they don't like the country's new direction...

This article seems predicated on the assumption that the GOP is going field a viable candidate.

I happened by an acquaintances house in November 2008, night of the elections. They were celebrating....now they are all clamoring for Ron Paul. Morons.

The foregoing notwithstanding, he cockily posited that he had 5 more years to accomplish his goals.

Between his minority voting (and ignorant) followers and many left over white guilt voters ... he has a chance; slim, but, still a chance. Never say never when it comes to this POC.

Just exactly who is obama going to lose to?

I’m not so sure.

I think it is 50/50 at the moment.

Same thing with my neighbor, complete with t-shirt the following morning. His company eventually went bankrupt in 2010 and moved out of state. Had no sympathy for him whatsoever.

Intrade has him at 60%.

I’d love a coin flip to be honest.

Have sympathy.

Many of the dimocrats are too dense to realize the err of their ways.

The president knows he is in trouble, so he has given up leading the country and is now focused solely on campaigning for re-election.

Key points from the article.

Quite valid as well.

Let us illuminate this in the light of little bammys narcissist behavior.

lets talk about what Mr. narcissistic delusional construct of a reality based on a childhood of communist indoctrination, homosexuality, affirmative action college "degrees," and a documented twenty years of reverend jeremiah alvesta wright, jr will do when National Election poll numbers quite possably in the low forties to high thirties percent range are staring him in the face?

What will he do with that Executive Power when it dawns on his narcissistic delusion that he WILL BE a total, complete and utter cluster **** of a failed President.

What will he do to force the world upside down with himself as the only one not standing on his head?

.

60% may well be more accurate.

Which is not to deny that he is incredibly weak...but the GOP field is much weaker.

Remember the 2010 Elections - they were just a SMALL SAMPLE of how much THE AMERICAN PEOPLE ARE NOT JUST ANGRY, but FURIOUS and its going to be an FU day to Obama in November 2012! Just like in 2008 when they said no republican would have won, this election will be like a tidal wave of all the 4 years of pent-up emotion we have had to supress!

BRING IT ON!

Well, if you think about it, what is more appropriate for Obama, than a Five-Year-Plan. . . .

(. . .diving for cover, grinning like hell. . . .)

If those polls are accurate, Daffy Duck could beat Obama. IIRC, In 2008, he got indies almost 3:2 and the yutes about 2:1.

It’s interesting how the mediameme now is suddenly
“Things are better.” I’m not buying it, couldn’t
afford to, have to put four gallons of gas in my
truck at a time. Naturally I don’t go far.
However I WILL go to the polling place and vote
on his replacement if I have to crawl there over
broken glass.

I think the final straw against Obama--despite the sanguine reports from the MSM!--is the fact we are very likely headed towards US$5.00/US gallon average national pricing for 87 pump octane unleaded gasoline by Memorial Day at the rate things are going.

That right there could trigger off the worst scenario for President Obama: stagflation, the combination of high inflation, no economic growth and high unemployment. Anyone old enough remembers that in 1979-1980, stagflation caused enormous harm to the US economy, and President Carter saw his sizable lead in March 1980 over then-former Governor Ronald Reagan essentially vanish very quickly, and Carter was beaten in a landslide loss.

Here's an idea for a campaign commercial against Obama.

Just use clips of him saying some of his more ridiculous things and back it up with a huge laugh track. Every time he utters more of his nonsense just put a huge round of laughter, over and over. Then at the end freeze frame on his $hit eating grin and ask “Can America afford 4 more years of a comedian in our White House? It's time for real leadership”.

You know the old saying. Once people start laughing at a politician they're done.

Unfortunately Daffy Duck won't be on the ballot in November.

I'm not optimistic.

If Romney is the nominee, a large number of conservatives will stay home or vote for a third-party candidate.

If Santorum is the nominee, the independents will vote for Obama to get free condoms and birth control pills and to prevent a reimposition of the Spanish Inquisition.

If Gingrich is the nominee, by November the public will know his marital history better than the Pledge of Allegiance.

A billion dollar campaign fund for Obama, plus the fervent support of the mainstream media, will do wonders. Look at the debates so far...every time it's liberal journalists asking questions designed to stir up dissension and animosities among Republicans, and nothing that might encourage criticism of Obama.
