Winning Freedom Super PAC Formed to Back Newt Gingrich Presidential Bid
Market Watch ^ | March 2, 2012 | Press Release

AUSTIN, Texas, March 2, 2012 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Brandon Todd, a prominent Texas entrepreneur and Tea Party Leader, today announced the formation of a new Super PAC (Political Action Committee) to support the Presidential bid of former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich.

Winning Freedom also announced the formation of two websites www.winningfreedom.org and www.newtgingrich360.com .

Mr. Todd stated: "This is the most important election of our lifetime. It will have a profound impact on man's quest to rule itself and live in this world as a free people.

"We as Americans will make the choice this year to lead mankind either toward freedom and prosperity or to the shared misery of Barack Obama's fantasy that failed in the Soviet Union, is failing in Europe and will fail mankind as a whole if brought to the United States of America.

"To turn America around and restore it to its founding principles, we need a presidential candidate that will draw a clear contrast between the record and ideology of Obama and that of our Founding Fathers. We need a Candidate that not only has the ability to articulate a vision of American Exceptionalism that will inspire Americans, but one who can lead us in the necessary hard work of restoration.

And there is only one man with the depth of experience, breadth of knowledge and leadership experience to lead us. That man is Newt Gingrich.".....

For G-d’s sake, America. PLEASE wake up.

I’ve been avoiding the political threads because I am just so disgusted with darn near everything I see and hear that I have to bite my tongue rather than comment and start a war. But this is getting ridiculous.
With either romney or santorum, you get business as usual in one way or another. NOTHING will change. I look at both of them and have to suppress my gag reflex and pray Americans are smarter than they are giving us credit for. Then I remember that Americans elected obama. And it seems we have learned nothing.

The GOP establishment is bound and determined to put up one of its members...that would be either Romney or Santorum...because they have decided that people actually like Obama’s policies (which would be faithfully followed by any good member of the GOP E) and perhaps just don’t like Obama personally.

The GOP E refuses to acknowledge the damage that Obama has done to this country and its systems, and they are in fact unnerved by the fact that Gingrich is pointing this out and offering ideas to change it. They don’t want to even rock the boat, while he realizes that the entire boat has got to be turned around - and fast - before it sinks.

I hope more and more people will come to the realization, as these Texans did, that we have got to have Gingrich. And this is even leaving aside the individual negatives of the other candidates. It is simply that Gingrich is the only one who has the ideas and the proven ability to make the changes that must be made.

Why are Super PACs legal but strict limits on personal contributions remain?

I imagine to get around the stupid idea that personal contributions are limited.

Yeah Great. Could they have waited any longer? Newt needed this help a long time ago. Me thinks it is a tad late. Crazier things have happened tho. Look who is in the WH now.

The GOP-e has become as much an enemy of the people as the Democrats and MSM are. They only serve their own self-interests and don’t seem to care about governing well or following the Constitution. We need a third party and/or group of Independents willing to vote as a block to offset the domination by the big party political system.

Is there ANY way we can get Newt up there as the nominee? We need a miracle.

Naturally I will vote for whomever runs against the O. But Romney? Santorum?

I will vote for either of these guys, but it will be without passion.

In talking informally just to people I know, the first thing out of their mouths is Newt’s past — the three wives thing.

Even though half of all Americans are either or have been in their own pasts, complete tramps and/or are in divorce court for the fifth time, or know someone who is, they still seem to find it in themselves to judge this man for something he did 15 years ago, has received forgiveness for, and who is now SOLIDLY and HAPPILY married to his life partner, and who has become a member of the Catholic Church!

People just repeat the lines they hear ...Oh, yeah, and what about those three wives of his?? They just won’t let go of it.

They’re just total judgemental hypocritical idiots. I don’t know, but SOMETHING has to be done to illustrate to people that Newt and Callista Gingrich are HAPPY, their family is HAPPY, even that the the divorces are over and that it would have no effect on his governing ....which it WOULDN’T. Never HAS. Or, they need to subtley communicate ...judge not, lest ye be judged .... I’m not sure how it can be done, but there IS a away.

I think also Newt just needs to keep hammering on what he will do and how it will BENEFIT everyone — we hear about what he’ll do, but not how it would affect everyone.

People are just mesmerized by Obama — they are total morons, they have NO historial knowledge ...friends of mine are utter and complete DOPES when it comes to politics, history or anything. Yet, these same DOPES just whine and whine about high gas prices, the economy, no jobs ...they just CANNOT logicallly connect it to Obama because the Left has illogically taught them how it is “connected” to the Right — total lies.

Someone just has to break down those illogical connections in American’s feeble minds .. . it’s all in the marketing, I feel.

Thank you Brandon Todd! Every little bit helps. If Newt can pull this out, it will be nothing short of a miracle. He is the one candidate with a solid conservative and thoroughly detailed plan for saving our country. When it comes to hope and change, he is the real deal and he proved this when he was Speaker. Bold visionary. Brilliant historian. A force to be reckoned with in a debate. Newt still has my vote.

Mine too! That makes nine of us here representing in the WA/ID caucuses. It's good to see a Texas-based SuperPAC charging into the fray. Newt needs Texas.

"We need a miracle."

Precisely. I know I'm not the only one praying for God to move Mr. Newt into the first place. I have a feeling (I don't know how right I am...) that he is getting a lot more support than the polls are willing to tell us. Everybody I've talked to is excited about him and thinks the other two are hacks. I hope and pray this is a hidden indication of his real support.

"In talking informally just to people I know, the first thing out of their mouths is Newt’s past — the three wives thing."

Of course, none of the people we talk to have ever had two divorces or any bitter ex-spouses. It's always funny that the people I have heard using this as an excuse are people with numerous divorces, live-ins, etc., in their own pasts. I guess if a person can't forgive themselves (or turn their lives around, as Mr. Newt has done), they can't believe somebody else could do it and make it stick.
