President Barack Obama today appointed Todd Park as the new U.S. Chief Technology Officer. Park had served for the past three years as CTO of the Department of Health and Human Services, POLITICO Pro reports.
“Todd Park has demonstrated a remarkable talent for enlisting innovative technologies to modernize government, reduce waste, and make government information more accessible to the public,” said President Obama in a statement. “In his new position he will bring those skills to the entire Federal enterprise, ensuring that government will serve all Americans fairly, effectively, and efficiently.”

The primary qualification this person has for this position is that he can spell “technology”.
And knows how to utter, “No’.

'Internet ID#' here we come. The days of using multiple Email addresses, screen names for blogging, etc.. WILL BE OVER SOON. The government will make it so that you MUST enter an ID# similar to a Social Security number when logging into the Internet. This will be your identity while on the Internet so the government can follow you anywhere you blog, anyplace you shop or anybody you Email.
The regime will know your every step.. If you speak out against the government you may be blocked from Internet access or prosecuted for anti-government sentiments. There WILL be a master list of all offenders!
If there ever was a cause to fight, THIS IS IT. The Internet is our ONLY way around the media to share THE TRUTH and to educate the sheep being produced by our schools AND THE GOVERNMENT WANTS TO STOP IT AND STOP IT NOW.

Todd Park joined the Health and Human Services Department as chief technology officer in August 2009. He is the former co-founder and board director of AthenaHealth, a practice-management company. Prior to his position at AthenaHealth, Park was a healthcare-management consultant with Booz Allen and Hamilton.
Park’s current duties include reporting to Deputy Secretary of Health and Human Services William Corr and working with HHS leadership and agencies across the department to improve the health of Americans.
He has also served a senior fellow at the Center for American Progress, where he focused on health IT and health reform policy, and as senior health care adviser to Ashoka, where he helped start a venture to bring affordable telehealth, drugs, diagnostics, and clean water to rural India.
Park earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from Harvard College.

Don't be complacent about Internet ID because of pathways like Tor.. Trust me, there will be no way around mandatory Internet ID once it's implemented.

Can’t do it. It disenfranchises people who do not have the internet. If you can give someone an ID, then that person will have to use it to vote, get a drivers license, get on a plane, have their medical records released.
The day that tries to get implemented, SCOTUS will shoot it down.
The Internet ID# is solely for the Internet. They absolutely CAN do it, just as most people have a password to log into their computers.
