The implication is simple - avoid an oil price shock this summer and delay it until next winter when Obama will be safely in his throne for another 4 years, ...."

My guess is with an answer like that it is onto plan "B" what that is only he and his top personel know.
My guess? Have they reverse engineered our Bunker-Busters (if they have one or more) and how quickly can they make one or improvise something like it.
These are the techno-geniuses that made over 600 design improvements to the old lead-sled F-4 Phantom and made it do things it wasn't supposed to do.
To bad they didn't let the retrofit them with the F100 Pratts like they did to one Prototype.

I’m pretty sure Mr. Netanyahu is smart enough to understand that anything Mr. Obama promises will happen after the election will be conveniently forgotten by him after the election.
I have been told that FR doesn’t want anyone posting stories from Ulsterman here. But I think and hope that a link to the article that just appeared there might be regarded as an exception.
As background, Ulsterman is some sort of Democrat political insider who says he is sick of Obama and wants to dump him before he wrecks the party. Wall Street Insider, whom he interviews in today’s column, has also turned against Obama. In today’s comments WSI reveals that he is also Jewish. I think it’s worth a read. It pretty much agrees with the article on this thread:

What is threatened? Are those assets in the Persian Gulf there to protect Iran from Israel? Has Obama told Israel that our military will blow out of the sky any Israeli assets used to attack Iran if the attack comes before the election? If true, this is alarming.
He refuses to say what he has heard about the meeting, so it’s just guesswork. What now seems to be public knowledge is that he refused the request for bunker busters, and he demanded that Israel should not do anything until after the November election.
Whether there is anything in it or not, I don’t know, but there is the suggestion that more was said, which he is unable to repeat.
At the very least, I would say, a denial of any support. And possibly a refusal to let Israeli planes or ships pass through areas that we control. How explicitly that might have been stated is anyone’s guess. But at the least, he seems to have said, “Don’t expect any help from us before the election is past. If you attack Iran before then, you’ll be sorry.”
