I am ignorant. I’m just trying to navigate all of the misinformation out there. I can’t count on the MSM to actually tell the truth about anything, so everything becomes suspect to me.

So getting back to your knowledge that oil breaks down into carbon deeper than 30,000 feet.

Can you please answer my obvious question since I just referred to the deep oil wells.

The Russians claim they have 310 super deep oil wells that are producing. Are they lying about that? If so, where is the oil coming from that they are claiming is coming from those wells?

Is it a lie that Russia now produces more oil than Saudi Arabia?

If it is true, and if the Siberian oil finds are not super deep wells, then did the Russians just neglect this easy to get oil? Why did they wait until recently to tap these fields if they are not super deep wells?

Thanks you. I’m just trying to get to the truth here. There is constant misinformation whether from ignorant people like me, or from people who have old outdated information, or from people who refuse to advance in knowledge. I’m just trying to weed through the various sources of all above. Even brilliant petrochemical engineers with decades of experience can be late to the party when new truths come up against their decades of contrary experience, so I am just trying to find out why the Russians are lying about their claim of 310 deep wells and why the Russians are now producing so much oil.

Thank you.

“I have friends and former coworkers telling me that there are numerous active drilling rigs in the Permian Basin.”

That's almost an under statement, just north of town there is over 50 rigs running in about a 40 square mile area. We drilled the first one up there on 8 sections we already owned, tried to keep it quiet but that's impossible. These wells are coming in at 400+ BPD, they level of to about 60 after 6 months. We're going to drill 28 more but keeping a rig for the whole package is impossible. All these are around 8500 to 8700 ft with total costs of about 2 million per. There not a place to be rented for 50 miles with all the activity going on.

I won't say their lying but until their drilling logs are open for scrutiny I tend not to believe them. I do know of some wells that Exxon is drilling in Russia that total over 38,000 ft in vertical and lateral length but these are all offshore wells, in the Chayvo resevoir.

Exactly.

The “Fossil Fuel Theorists” have an obligation to explain what all that carbon was doing on the surface in the first place, how it got so deep in the earth without becoming CO2 again, and to describe the world with those concentrations of CO2.

I have to plead ignorance on what is going on in Russia. I do believe they are now the #1 producer of oil in the world. I googled super deep Russia oil wells and I all I got was anti-Zionist peak oil scams. Much of their oil is heavy as in the Black Sea area and as with Canada (hint, hint Keystone XL pipeline), they are finding ways to make it commercial. They have plenty of reserves but lacked technology to produce it. I believe most of their oil is sold to Europe. By the way, most of our imports come from Canada, Saudi Arabia, Mexico, Venezuela, and Russia. OPEC oil goes to the Far East and Europe. Russia does not give out much information about production and reserves like the US does so it is hard to find out what they mean by Super Deep.

So if we want to ask the question: is there life on Mars, we shall have not to scratch the surface but drill beneath to see if there is life now there.”

Drill, baby, drill!

Gold’s idea makes sense. Aren’t the giant planets made up of the stuff?

These leftist Einsteins do realize methane can be turned into methanol and with a little more work, into ethanol via conversion to ethane

Deep-ocean vents are a source of oil and gas (evidence of abiogenic hydrocarbons)

The keyword is abiogenichydrocarbon. There's no space and no plural to fit the 20 character limit.
