It might be but I tend to believe the number of recent burglaries in his neighborhood probably had the most effect on his state of mind. He was looking out for his other neighbors by keeping an eye on Trayvon until the cops could show up. Unfortunately Trayvon decided to come back after running away from Mr. Zimmerman and attacked him. If that had not happened Trayvon would have never been shot.
License to kill not needed, he had feeling and passion, ok I get it.

Not such an innocent looking little boy in the above photo like the MSM wants everyone to believe. The kid was suspended from school for TEN days unlike what MSM media says three days and some say five, it was TEN. Parents lawyer won’t release a reason for suspension either.
I had not heard that before. Plus, if he knows that the police are going to be there any minute, why would he feel the need to take the law into his own hands. Unless maybe he figures on grabbing the kid and holding him until the cops arrive?
What struck me was that the incident was reported, the unit despatched, and arrived on scene within a minute. Smart work SPD!

According to the police report, Martin was 6’0”, not 6’2”.
I have read the reports and listened to the 911 calls. The Leftist “news” is distorting this to the hilt based on what I have read from them and comparing it to what I have read from the police reports and what I have heard on the 911 calls.

Police report also lists him at 160 lbs. That’s not the big bad black football player that you have nightmares about.

You've got your own set of facts. The police report has him at 6'0" and 160 lbs., not 6'3" and 200 lbs.
As for the gated community, he was visiting someone, watching a basketball game on tv and at around 7pm went out to buy a snack, then headed back. You call that "illegal right off the bat." Totally untrue.
Why would he feel the need to take the law into his own hands? How about when Trayvon came back and attacked Mr. Zimmerman?
Listening to 911 call #3 you can hear him yelling for help. Even the lady calling into 911 says he was yelling for help. And no one dared to help him. In my opinion he was yelling help under great stress. The only reason for that is if someone was attacking him. The police noted in their report that he had wet grass on his back side and a bloody nose. (We don’t know what other injuries he suffered.)
Put the wet grass on his back, a bloody nose, and screaming for help. I can infer that after Trayvon ran off into the darkness Trayvon doubled back around the condo building and did a surprise attack on Mr. Zimmerman which ended up with Trayvon on top of Mr. Zimmerman and beating him while Mr. Zimmerman yelled for help.
If you were being attacked by a guy (Black, White, Purple or polka-dotted) on top of you beating you in the face at night what would you do? Call for help? Just lay there and take it until he beats you to death? Shoot him if you had a firearm or pull a knife and use it if you had one?
Because in the early hours of the next morning, the Sanford PD wrote off the shooting of an unknown black John Doe by one of their informants as "self defence" and were stuck with that legend when it further info indicated a bad shoot.
He lost 40lbs, and 3", between the shooting and the morgue?
Slight problem with your ambush theory: Martin was on the phone with his girlfriend while this was going on. According to this article:
Martin, who was in town from Miami to visit his father in Sanford, told the girl on his way back from the store he'd taken shelter from the rain briefly at an apartment building in his father's gated community, [Martin family Attorney Ben] Crump said. Martin then told the girl he was being followed and would try to lose the person."She says: 'Run.' He says, 'I'm not going to run, I'm just going to walk fast,' " Crump said, quoting the girl.
After Martin encountered Zimmerman, the girl thinks she heard a scuffle "because his voice changes like something interrupted his speech," Crump said. The phone call ended before the girl heard gunshots.
The call ended at 7:12 pm, and the cops arrived at 7:17.
If Zimmerman laid a hand on the kid first, he's guilty. If the kid kept on walking, and Zimmerman tried to restrain him, he's guilty. On the other hand, if Zimmerman politely asked what he was doing, and Martin jumped him, then maybe he's not guilty.
If Mr. Zimmerman is tried. It will be in a court of law. Not in the court of public opinion.
