Zimmerman Attorney To Anderson Cooper: Trayvon Martin Broke My Client’s Nose
mediaite ^ | 3/24/2012 | by Frances Martel

Amid the rush of loud outrage and vocal protest from the parents of Trayvon Martin and their supporters the silence of one character in this tragic tale has been deafening: George Zimmerman, the free man who shot Martin and alleges self-defense. His attorney, Craig Sonner, finally spoke out to Anderson Cooper last night, and had few answers but one accusation– his client has a broken nose and a laceration on his skull, and that was “an injury done by Trayvon Martin.”

Sonner noted to Cooper that his client seemed fine save for a “considerable bit of stress” natural to his situation, but admitted that “y conversations have been by telephone.” He did not know where Zimmerman was but assumed he was “still in the area” and hadn’t fled the country. He had surprisingly little to offer Cooper about the facts of the case; asked what Zimmerman had told him about what transpired the night Martin died, he said “he should have made a statement to police at the time, I believe he did,” and said he “did not discuss the details,” and they would be privileged even if he had.

The newer photos, and the older photos have been taken down.

There are some two year old shots posted in one of these threads from his own page.

His stalker? Bwahahahaha, thanks for exposing yourself so thoroughly. We need to know which are the enemies from the stealthy left in this political season.

You say “the kid should have left well enough alone....” Don’t you think that Zimmerman, having contacted the police who informed him an officer was on the way, should have “left well enough alone” and remained in his vehicle? It is, after all, “Neighborhood WATCH.”

I'm sure he would tell you I pursued him.
He might, but both you and the police know that you were doing it to get a description. We know that Zimmerman had already described Martin to the dispatcher. We know that the dispatcher said, "We don't need you to do that." (I think that's an accurate quote.)
I'll say it again: Zimmerman should never have gotten out of his truck. None of this would have happened. This doesn't make him guilty of any crime, but he created the situation.
I wonder what Zimmerman hoped to achieve by getting out of his vehicle?

Personally, I think it got into a wrestling match for the gun, and that’s why there was one shot fired, and all rounds chambered. Otherwise, a second round would have been stripped off and either loaded into the chamber, or jammed at some point between.

(It was a KelTec, LOL! I’ve got one too, and I know for sure that first one will go bang! After that, probably!)

They why did Lil 6'2" Trayvee not just tell Zman what he was doing and go about his biznatch?

Hell, Zman would've probably given him a ride in the rain!

Why run when you have no reason to?

Seriously, why did Trayvee run? Why did Trayveee attack Zman? This aint the 40's or 50's, there haven't been Klan lynchings in several generations. Even Jessie Jackasson doesn't fear whites.

BTW running through/on private property is trespassing!

No one would be doing what Mr. Zimmerman was doing - approaching Mr. Martin on the street as a suspect.

That would depend on the Neighborhood Watch group and what the guidelines are with the programs for that particular neightborhood...as well the individual doing the Watch.

I have followed in order to remain engaged with the police with information etc....I have also been verbal with people. So have others within our group.

People within the community here 'always' identify themselves when asked.. and know it is a watch neighborhood...and who we are.... They don't run as that guy did.

So you go with your group as you see fit and instructed to do and I'll go with mine. The idea is we do stay within the parameters of what we are instructed to do...before contact with the police, as, and after.

And nobody "plays cop", neither did Zimmerman. It's all about the security of the community and we do take it seriously or we wouldn't be a part of the Watch team.

With the information that's known about Zimmerman..I would have done likewise as Zimmerman in addressing the individual....most especially if he came toward me while engaging with the police on my phone...and considering his behavior prior.

Hey... One night I was awoken by two men in their early thirties beating on each other beneath my bedroom window at 3am!.... The one was my neighbor to my surprise. I yelled out loud enough to wake the neighborhood.....”Knock it off or the police will be here shortly and they’ll make you knock it off”.....they stopped immediately. Broke it up... and the neighbor hollowered out an apology on his way thru the hallway. I did not respond.

Thank you for your opinion on this matter Airborne Vet...and thank you for your service.

I'm so sick of the media giving our police force and investigators bad press... they ALWAYS make it out to be something the police did or didn't do...Additionally how our laws have tied their hands from doing their jobs. No different then how our Military men can no longer fight the enemy.

Today nobody dares to interfere with any of the crooks and those up to no good without fear of being sued or exactly what we see happening with this case.

The public is in no position whatsoever to make a judgment of guilt on Zimmerman...He IS innocent until proved otherwise. The mob mentality even came from our President and politicians ready to "take sides"....so the race war Obama wants is certainly being fanned by him and those ready to call Zimmerman guilty....as well as what the police did or did not do.

It's a disgusting mess and for this the next thing the libs will do is stop all Neighborhood watch groups. You can bet on it.

lol did you just try to establish probable cause of a crime with Wikipedia?

Post the Florida statute that was violated by Zimmerman, and the evidence released to the public that supports probable cause Zimmerman violated that statute.

Otherwise, "you lie".

You omitted the last half of that statement.....which is mis-leading in addressing the issue, so here it is:

....”it simply ‘protects’ those who would be potential victims by ‘allowing for force to be used in self-defense’.”

This is just too good for a single response.

I can't wait to see org.whodat presenting his case in court.

"Your Honor, I would like to enter Exhibit A on the record, as evidence the accused did in fact stalk Mr. Martin. I have here a definition from Wikipedia, which I think pretty much proves my case."

What an exaggeration!.....do you have the evidence in hand?

The evidence supports Zimmermans story according to the police investigation...and why there was no arrest. Further if your so called attempting to “stalk” someone you sure as heck aren't going to call the police and give them the step by step details AS you're doing do if your intentions are to harm an individual.

Good grief....can you not wait for the evidence before developing a concocted version of what you “Think”....?

The police report says that the officer removed the holstered KelTec FP9 from Zimmerman after handcuffing him. Maybe Zimmerman carried without a round in the chamber and removed the round before reholstering.

No I just gave you the definition of the word, and if anyone things the prosecution is not going to use it over and over and over again in the grand jury they are nuts.

If they obtain an indictment on a Wikipedia definition, they truly have no case.

I am beginning to believe you are a little short in the education department, all the legal definitions are the same. Who posts them does not change the meaning. If you have a different definition prove it.

That posters use of verbage is exactly what is stirring the whole dang pot!.... People are nuts to keep flamming this happening when they have zip zero evidence before them to make any call whatsoever.............Zimmerman was not stalking he was doing his job...and that while speaking to the authorities as he did so.

BTW...did you hear the recording?
