Daryl Parks, an attorney for the Martin family, told board members of the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) on Saturday that prosecution on the state level stands a better chance.

I’m sort of confused by the whole outrage thing about this case. Celebrities and this “hoodie” thing and this “hoodie march” and this and that.
Where are these people when blacks are killed every-single-day by black on black violence? And it’s usually a kid getting killed when “gangstas” like to emulate what is shoved into their heads 24/7 on the radio by rap music? Gangstas who BTW usually wear this hoodie thing. Gangsta shoot outs on the street are OK but a guy possibly defending himself is not? And even if the guy was a paranoid nut, how is this different from some gangsta blowing away someone on the street?
And what is even more astounding to me is some of these idiots protesting are saying this Zimmerman was a white cop! Where do they get this crap? The guy is neither a cop nor white.

If Mr. Martin was trained in violent diversity black racism, the challenge presented by Mr. Zimmerman suspecting him as a criminal (read as racism by Martin) would have to be violently punished.
Hence, the mentality of diversity racism (Critical race theory) killed Mr. Martin. Otherwise, he would have just told nosey Zimmerman, he is with his dad in the neighborhood and went to buy skittles and to mind his own busienss, all would be well. Diversity racism sets up “us against them.” Violence is the way to handle any conflict.

You are overreacting from what I have seen. There was a thread deleted that was on the NBPP putting Zimmerman’s address out there, that included Zimmerman’s address. Posting personal addresses is a long-time no-no at Free Republic.
Individual posts have been deleted that showed the *other* Trayvon Martin, of Savannah, while saying they were of TM of FL. We don’t want to be spreading bogus information and look like fools.

The so-called “leaders” of the black “community” will seize on any story to avoid confronting the problems amoung themselves. The statistics are plain, the problem isn’t white people killing black people, the problem isn’t cops killing black people, the problem isn’t even black people killing white people, the problem is black people killing black people, that is young black men killing other young black men.
Another angle of this which is willfully ignored is how the disproportionate criminality of black men leads people to be fearful of them.

Muffled recordings from different sources, oh the yells and screams obviously came from a young person, so Zimmerman is guilty. Reports of Zimmerman having his nose broken are obviously false because there would have been copious amounts of blood and an ambulance so that is proof of a cover-up and Zimmerman is guilty.

A good example is a few years ago they were bitching again how it’s hard for blacks to hail a cab in New York city...until they interviewed black cab drivers and asked them why they didn’t pick up blacks: “Because I don’t want to get robbed” is what they said. So there went the lefts whole “cabdrivers are racist” argument, and the subject was never mentioned again. I assume it will be when another leftist like Danny Glover can’t hail a cab. “Cab drivers are racist!”

I grew up in NYC and one thing those yellow cabs don’t want to do is take you to the outer boroughs. In Brooklyn, they’ll take you as far as Park Slope without an argument, but that’s it. Of course they are legally obliged to take you anywhere within the 5 boroughs, but they don’t want to and they don’t.
I think that is often what is happening with the black people who complain the cabs won’t stop for them. Of course the cabbie’s fear of being robbed (or worse!) is part of it too, at least with men, I’m sure.
I think black people have a delusional idea about white people. I think they think cops treat all white people great, cab drivers are always nice to us, the Courts are on the side of white people, etc.
That is not the case, white people get abused and ignored by “society” all the time. Sorry Rev. Al and Jesse Jackson, nobody is kissing our rear ends either.

Yeah I grew up in NYC as well (Bayside), and still live here (unfortunately) From what I understand the outer boroughs don’t have as many customers as Manhattan, so if they drive someone to say Crown heights, they then have to drive all the way back with no fare to Manhattan which can be a bitch if it’s rush hour.
Either way those guys get screwed royally. I was talking to one cabdriver last month who told me before he sees a dime he has to make around $220 which can take 9 to 10 hours (they only have the car for 12 hours and work 11 leaving one hour to get back to the garage or they are fined if they are late). He has to make $130 for the lease, $40 for taxes (which was recently added thanks to the asshole from Assachussets, Nanny state King Bloomberg - Imagine telling the MTA they will take a pay cut like that. They’d go on strike in a nano-second), $50 for gas (and rising), plus pay for tickets which they get every other day. He said somedays he LOSES money! He gets in debt as he didn’t make enough to cover the lease! AND if he has an accident, even if it’s not his fault, the garage hits him up for $500 bucks.
It sort of explains to me now why so many immigrants who can barely speak English are doing it. They can do nothing else. It’s just corrupt as hell that whole biz. Those computers they have now in the back, the guy who owns the company who makes those, Ron Sherman, is also on the board of the TLC which mandated all taxis buy them for $5000 a piece. That’s Nancy Pelosi tactics! Pass this bill but first let me buy stock in the company!
