Santorum Pronounces Zimmerman Guilty Before Trial, or Charge
Big Government ^ | March 25, 2012 | Joel B. Pollak

Republican presidential contender Sen. Rick Santorum appeared on CBS' Face the Nation this morning and pronounced George Zimmerman guilty of murder in the first degree.

Admitting that he was "not privy to what’s going on in someone’s mind," Santorum nevertheless said that Zimmerman, who shot and killed teenager Trayvon Martin while participating in a neighborhood watch last month, "has a very sick mind who would pursue someone like this." He added that Zimmerman's motive had been "malicious."

The mental state of the alleged perpetrator, the motive, and the question of whether he pursued the alleged victim, are both critical in determining guilt. Santorum's conclusions are consistent with first-degree murder under Florida law....

We are seeing it with our own eyes with santos. It is called a person is Innocent until proven to be guilty. What side is that so hard for the santos people to understand. Was Ricky a witness to the shooting? Does he have the evidence to go on a national TV show to pronounce a man’s guilt. What is happening to our side.

-- Did you know that to give George the benefit of the "stand your ground law' you have to also believe that Trayvon was trying to kill him? --

That's a misstatement of the legal principles involved in the case.

-- In short, to make George innocent you must make Trayvon guilty. --

Pretty much. And that's where the evidence points.

What is it with Pa legislators doing stuff like this. Remember when John Murtha declared the Marines guilty?

Santo won't be kicking anyone's butt if he keeps being dumber than a box of rocks. It's a long time until the convention.

Rick should call OBummer to see if he can borrow a few of these things:

Yes, he is. He has him/her self convinced that I'm a Mittbot. I doubt if anything would convince him/her otherwise. Just like the Obots and Paulestinians, the Rickazoids can't take any kind of criticism of their boy.

"I never expected than anyone could make Bishop Mitt look better"

You can thank santorum for that.

...they were the most inane, stupid, idiotic, careless, unethical, and cruel (to zimmerman), remarks that I have very seen from a candidate for prez. Santorum’s idiocy is breathtaking.

I honestly have never understood what decent patriotic voters have ever seen in this guy. I've been less-than-impressed by Santorum from the moment I first saw him on television.

Not to mention the fact that there's nothing in his Senate record to indicate that he's got what it takes to handle the Biggest Job On Earth.

I have no idea what's going through some conservative's heads. Santorum would have a hard time getting my vote for city councilman. President??? Get real.

This nation is screwed. When the best the Republicans have to offer jumps the shark like this... we are screwed.

And please, don’t feed me the “Newt is our man”, or “Romney is the only viable candidate” BS.

You can say it is your opinion that he was wrong to say what he said--anything after that that is mean-spirited like the term “santos” means you are shilling for Romney.

There is no other consequence for Santorum hate from anyone except to help Mitt and that's a natural fact.

No and no. But Santorum did see an opportunity to butt-kiss the main-stream media and butt-kiss all the race baiters. He saw his opportunity, and he took it.

Why is Newt getting a pass? He already said that the shooter had a dangerous hobby and that he likely violated the “stand your ground law”.

Maybe it’s because Newt is in distant third in the delegate count.

"And Newt declared that Zimmerman had stepped outside the law."

No he did not. He said it did not qualify under the stand your ground defense which Zimmerman's attorney said as well. He said it would be standard self defense.

Yet, George was following Trayvon around in a pickup truck ~ and eventually shot him to death with a firearm.

The police report shows that all Trayon had was a bag of candy, a can of tea and $22.

I gather there's a crowd here getting their yuck yucks by citing the adventures of a far older Trayvon Martin ~ I've seen that stuff before.

Years back a crowd of racists ran an attack on me at work. They ridiculed my car pool buddy, among others, and included Long Dong Silver in the material they thought should be appropriate to that sort of campaign.

Watching people at FR do the same sort of thing with respect to Trayvon angers me and brings back bad memories.

Why do you imagine you are INVISIBLE in this?

Because it is nowhere near in the galaxy or the BS of what Santo said,

Santorum - “ “has a very sick mind who would pursue someone like this.” He added that Zimmerman’s motive had been “malicious.” “

If true, Rick shouldn’t have said a dang thing. He’s a freakin’ lawyer and he’s not learned that words mean things AT ALL TIMES.

I still support him and Newt, but these mental farts need to stop.

New Santorum slogan...

Dumb as a box of rocks, but golly he sure loves Jesus

Sadly for some that is enough. I expect that and more.!!
