Police: Zimmerman says Trayvon decked him with one blow then began hammering his head

With a single punch, Trayvon Martin decked the Neighborhood Watch volunteer who eventually shot and killed the unarmed 17-year-old, then Trayvon climbed on top of George Zimmerman and slammed his head into the sidewalk several times, leaving him bloody and battered, authorities have revealed to the Orlando Sentinel.

That is the account Zimmerman gave police, and much of it has been corroborated by witnesses, authorities say.

Zimmerman has not spoken publicly about what happened, but that night, Feb. 26, and in later meetings he described and re-enacted for police what he says happened.

In his version of events, he had turned around and was walking back to his SUV when Trayvon approached him from behind, the two exchanged words then Trayvon punched him in the nose, sending him to the ground, and began beating him.

I could care less what their last name is. I have black neighbors and guess what? They are just like us but the ones that live by me, got out of the bad neighborhoods and when they talk about getting out, I'm glad they're out. I wouldn't want to live in a bad neighborhood would you?

Seems to me this is a forum, not a courtroom. I'm not ignorant, Mross. A minor was shot and that is called "wrongful death". If they would arrest George Z. and find him innocent, he would still be liable for a wrongful death action. It's going to either be criminal or civil kind of like OJ who offended again and is in a jail right now for a long time.

If an individual is an acquaintance of a resident of an HOA and is staying at that residence or even a guest at their pool or amenities,they are called a "guest" by invitation. There are bylaws and rules. I say Trayvon because a kid named Marvin or Martin was pounded to death at Florida's last boot camp about six years ago.

Someone recenetly made this same point - or one very similar; I think on a Breitbart thread. AFPhys' idea is excellent for online activism. I'm no good at this stuff (no time either) but I know plenty of freepers are good at tech stuff. I think a vanity about doing this would be an excellent idea. Who else to ping?
