You speak the truth—both Ron Paul and Newt Gingrich have been used by the Romney campaign and are now tossed aside.
And yet many of Newt's supporters act more like Mitt supporters in that they have a deranged loathing for the last conservative left standing.

I try to ask them when they bash Rick:

Does it help Newt? Everyone knows he is finished so no.

Does it help Mitt? well, duh!

Does it hurt Santorum? well, duh again.

So Rick bashers are for Mitt Romney plain and simple.

I got one of the so-called Newt supporters who liked to attack Rick to admit she preferred Mitt Romney over Rick Santorum. She showed character and had integrity— unlike those who assault Santorum who won't admit they prefer Mitt over Rick.

So since both Newt and Paul don't have a chance to win the nomination, you prefer Mitt over Rick.

No Rick Santorum supporter should want to get down in the gutter with a Newt person—Newt is finished so what would be the point other than to please Romney.

So admit you prefer Mitt over Rick—you can still keep Newt as number one—then we can know where you truly stand.

Newt is not your guy I get it. If your guy did the same thing there would be no problem.

Really the folks finding this funny are doing themselves nor their candidate any favors.

If anyone really thinks most folks supporting Newt are suddenly going to support another candidate because he is getting a few bucks from some pics are wrong.

This “controversy” makes me wonder; is the campaign staff confiscating cameras/cell phones? Seems to me if one wants a free picture it’s simple enough. Fact is, Newt is getting shut out of the media (reporters have jumped ship - per Fox this morning), and donations are down. Instead of whining about it or calling bull***t he is solving the problem with the Six Flags model. When you go there and ride there’s a good chance your pic was taken and you have the option of buying a copy or NOT. He’s got to find the cash to push on where he can, and again, if attendees’ aren’t prohibited from snapping their own pic at the same time I don’t see the problem.

IMO The title needs to be changed from “Gingrich Charges For Pics” to “Santorum Supporters Anti-Capitalism”

After Santorums treatment of our troops including screwing over the Armed Forces Retirement Home in favor of the Catholic University of America:

http://southfloridateaparty.net/content/how-rick-santorum-ripped-american-veterans

Newt’s selling pics, but Santorum has sold his soul. I’d pay $50 for a picture with Newt, before I would wipe my bottom line with a picture of that ______________.

Exactly.

Everybody, make a donation here:
http://www.newt.org/250gas

I donated on Sunday. I will make another donation at the end of the week. Newt has better ideas than Mitt and Santo. Newt can win if we stop Mitt from getting the nomination automatically. GO NEWT!

Don’t tell me what I think or who I support, because you don’t know. Where I truly stand is Newt will be the next President and there are too many really stupid closed-minded people, blinded by religious zeal and self-righteousness to see or understand that. Your ego is only surpassed by your self-indulgent ignorance.

I didn’t say one negative word to you, beyond what you said to me, and posted an informative article had you taken the time to read, could have helped you realize some real problems with your candidate, but it is just so much easier to snark one’s way through life. please go away.

"Enter Sen. Rick Santorum (R-Penn.). At the behest of the Roman Catholic Church, and unbeknownst to the Home, Santorum slipped an amendment into the 1999 National Defense Authorization Act handcuffing how the home could cash in on those 49 acres. The amendment forced the Home to sell—and not lease—the land to its next-door neighbor, the Catholic University of America. Ultimately, the Catholic Church bought 46 acres of the tract for $22 million. The Home lost the land for good, and by its own estimates, pocketed $27 million less than the land’s value and $83 million less than what it could’ve made under the lease plan. Santorum’s amendment sparked an outcry from veterans’ groups and fellow US senators, who barraged his office with complaints."

I never knew that Taxachusan. Sad indeed and sold for a lot less than it was worth. Always our veterans that are shafted. This isnt the first time Santorum pulled one over on the veterans.

Just three short years ago..Vesty endorsed Mitt. There isn't much difference between Romney and Santorum imo and btw...Santorum will not be the next president of the USA and he won't be the gop nominee either...YOU can take that to the bank. GO NEWT!

Just read elsewhere that the last traveling reporter has left the campaign, so this indicates the backer has left also. I expect Newt is working on his campaign debt from here forward.

Sad, but nothing silences Newt and he will have some venues open up for him.

I wish him well and pray he can influence the convention in some way to block Romney’s delegates there.

I would rather see Santorum as the nominee than Romney, but whomever can take Obama out of power is vital to the survival of the nation.

I am also with Newt until he is out as VinL.

You know anti-Newt posters just are not worth the bandwidth to respond to....the Santorum crowd should be spending more time with their candidates threads as he’s slipping badly....and no surprise.

I have no sympathy at all for Santorum....he has a serious problem with, as some poster accurately depicted, “Foot and Mouth Disease.”..and self destructing for that...as his hitory shows.

It was no wonder Ricks visit to Pa recently was an attempt at kiss and make up. At least he knows fully well the stunts he pulled off even if supporters might like to paint another picture. Most were not impressed at his feeble attempt to right his wrongs.

Further he lied yet again saying he was raised in a steel town...hahahah...in Southwestern Pa. He was not raised in Pittsburgh....he was raised in Butler, Pa. A no name flea bitten community he cannot reference for fear the press will do a story there and show what a dump it is.

Newt is not getting out until Romney amasses the necessary delegates to get the nomination. I do not care for Vesty...imo there is not a dimes worth of difference between him and Romney.

Stand by my statements that he is a pious little fraud.

He may be working on debt- but, I think he’s holding up hope.

Rick, Mitt or Barrack????

Rita, that’s like giving me a razor blade and saying left wrist, right wrist or throat.
