“Arrested for his own safety” the man says. Wow! We’re not a constitutional republic anymore. I don’t know what we are, but it’s nothing that the founding fathers would recognize.
So are these black democratic law makers saying Zimmerman should be locked up for his own safety...to protect him from black people who would do him harm?
Or are they saying we should lock people up in this country because we believe people are guilty, no matter what the law says and determines?
Zimmerman didn’t even know for with certainty, when he first started following Trayvon and called in, that he was black.

They just want him arrested for any reason, for no reason, just plain arrested because he's guilty of something. They can't legally say exactly what, but they have all the posters printed, hoodies silked, and chicken fried, and this is just to good a 'justice' thing to let die.

My local paper allows online comments too. They were posting a massive amount of Trayvon articles, and encouraging comments. Most threads got very heated, with nasty comments that would have never been allowed here. The moderators let it continue. There are nasty words for every race that I never heard before.
Then suddenly, a few days ago, when the facts started to come out and people started posting the facts in their comments, the comments started to get removed, then whole threads were locked with a remark by the editor that it was because terms of use were being violated. The racist remarks and four letter words had no effect, but posting the 911 calls, Trayvon’s Twitter page, statements by witnesses, etc seemed to be a violation of the TOS.
Now they aren’t posting any Trayvon articles. And they’re locking threads about local crimes, because the discussions keep turning toward the Trayvon nonsense. Public opinion is starting to turn toward the truth, and our local paper doesn’t want to let that happen.
these people should be hounded when the truth finally comes out, to apologize to zimmerman adn his family. as should all them churches who had hoodie sunday, etc...
These DEMONcRAT “lawmakers” are such complete fools. Maybe they should read the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. hey aren’t in some african third world degenerate country. What it says. There is nothing to interpret.
I find it very odd that at 3:43 Zimmerman says he’ll meet them by the mailboxes. (Yeah, that’s fine.)
Then at 3:49 he asks them to call him so he can give them his location. (Could you have them call me and I’ll tell them where I’m at.)
and the press published a four year old picture. Wonder why?
In August 2011 Fredrica Wilson said that “The real enemy is the Tea party”. I called her office and shared my opinion. I just called her office in DC (202) 225-4506 and let her aid know what I thought about her comment that “Zimmerman should be arrested for his own safety”. We have to let them know that their outrageous comments are not going unnoticed.

You do know that teenagers post lines from songs on their twitter and FB pages, don't you? Last night on another threat a poster was ranting about Trayvon's 'hate crime' tweets. They were words from songs. Trayvon liked rap music, I didn't know that was a crime ... yet.

BOB MARLEY, Y U NO SHOOT THE DEPUTY?
Since it peaked to Bilboard's #1 song in 1974, I thought everyone knew Bob Marley's song "I shot the sheriff / but I didn't shoot no deputy". Even Eric Clapton did a version of it.
I find it odd because it indicates to me that Zimmerman did not intend to return to his vehicle which was parked on the street near the mailboxes.
We'll see what the experts think after they listen to the tape. The lead investigator that night did not believe Zimmerman's story and recommended that manslaughter charges be filed.
It indicates to me Zimmerman did not know how long it would take police officers to arrive.
He had a wife and kids at home and had noticed a suspicious person on the way to the grocery store.
Zimmerman could wait at the mailboxes for a short time but he needed to get home because the wife worked nights and somebody had to watch the kids.
So, Zimmerman didn’t know if he could wait at the mailboxes until the police arrived, as there was no known arrival time for the police. (he didn’t call 911, though all transcripts list it as 911)
It is all speculation until there are more facts, charges, a trial evidence, and defense presented. What you have written is possible and what I written is possible.
We just don’t know.

By Florida Statute, law enforcement was PROHIBITED frommaking an arrest based on the facts and circumstances they had at the time. Additionally, whenany police officer makes an arrest for any reason, the officer MUST swear and affirm that he/sheis making the arrest in good faith and with probable cause.

Zimmerman was arrested, but not charged.
