A month from now nobody will give two-shits about this case, but we will have to deal with much more troubling events: the OWSers for one, NBPampersP, and the enemies of the States; mainly any liberal who opens their lying through their teeth’s mouths. Believe me you, things are just perculating at the moment, and when Summer and Fall arrive, things are going to be so ugly that most Americans will wish it were March again. That’s my take on the goings on in this country of late.
Several days back I read a comment by Zimmerman's father.
He said his son was NOT on patrol.
He said his son was driving to the store.
His son spotted Martin walking in an area between rows of townhouses, stopped his car, got out, then called the non-emergency police number, not 911.
Except for the fact that Zimmerman was carrying a gun, that sounds like routine neighborhood awareness to me.
Of course, that info comes from his Dad, so let's wait for more confirmation.
In the meantime, does anyone have a link to crime scene photos or an aerial map?

You are probably right. The Color of Change groups, the media, the Axelrod wannabe’s are all looking for anecdotal stories they can exploit. They’ve learned that the Natalie Holloway du jour can drive the media. And the 24-7 media (including the comedians, Oprahs, etc) need a new anecdote when the old one starts to unravel (Limbaugh’s ratings are UP).
They see what they are doing now as spring training. They are polling and focus grouping peoples’ reactions to the Limbaugh du jour and not to the Zimmerman du jour. When playoff and world series time for the game of politics comes this fall, they will replicate those specific anecdotes and spin on stories that most advanced their agenda.
What you see is calculated. In the same way that Velichek prepares and calculates what to do, so the political players are carefully calculating which tactics they can get away with...and which ones are winning tactics.

I sympathize with his parents. They want the truth. Trayvon and they deserve that much and so does Zimmerman.
It is hard to know what that is now, though with all the outright lies told by the media and these people wanting only to capitalize on this tragedy.
I don’t know the mother and father, but they are probably being manipulated by lawyers and race hustlers who glefully use their grief to further an agenda that is divisive and injurious to this country.
There is no justice at this point and justice is most likely something no side will get after this exploitation.

Still they are grieving and we don’t have all the facts.
We cannot look at this and say, “Even if Trayvon was not guilty of anything at this time, he was guilty of something before and that is enough to know.”
We should not do with Trayvon, what the left is doing to Zimmerman. It is tragedy all around, no one here is left unscathed and it could have ended the other way, with Trayvon killing Zimmerman.
I refuse to be further played by either side.

When they heard the name George Zimmerman of Florida the Left immediately thought they had an eighty year old retired Jewish Democrat accountant originally from Queens New York.
They thought maybe George Zimmerman was a runaway from the Democrat’s Jewish plantation (Bob Dylan’s real name is Zimmerman after all) who had gone NRA gun toting Republican TEA partier on them.
They were wrong.
George Zimmerman is a 28 year old self identified brown skinned Hispanic Democrat who they wish was an NRA member. He tutors Black children in his home and is not a TEA partier.
They looked at the picture of Trayvon Martin and fooled themselves into believing he was an angelic youth headed for Harvard someday. Instead they got a budding thug who had a series of scrapes with authorities that included possession of burglary tools and drug possession.
They thought they could find evidence that Zimmerman was on top of Martin punching him and calling him the “N” word. Instead they have an eye witness backing up Zimmerman’s claim of self defense and the “N” charge is just a dream.
They thought his neighbors would tell reporters Zimmerman hated Blacks. Instead they have a Black character witness for Zimmerman and his Black friends and family.
They thought they would have a White Police Chief who would kiss their feet to keep peace – and his job. They lost that on day two. They now have Black Chief so that angle is gone.
They thought they would have two justifiably shell shocked parents who would do whatever they were told. Instead they got a pair of opportunists who have even less shame than would be Puppet Masters Sharpton and Jackson. They have copyrighted their son’s name and quit their jobs to promote the sale of “Trayvon” merchandise.
They thought they could bring in the Black Panthers to scare White people then go away. Instead they got the Panthers putting a bounty on Zimmerman and threatening to burn down Detroit.
They thought Zimmerman would be living in a “Lilly White” gated fortress that screamed “Minorities keep out.” Instead they got a community that is more than half non White.
They thought they could get Black celebrities to jump in and add strength and lust to their circus of lies. Instead they got a dimwitted Spike Lee tweeting a wrong address for the lynch mob to descend upon ,and Lee is now on his way to a nasty losing lawsuit.
They thought they could get a bunch of Black high school kids to peacefully march to protest what had happened to “Brother Trayvon.” What they got was a pack of wilding animals who ransacked a Walgreens after their march.
Now they are all so eager to wear hoodies to show they are “down for the struggle.” Do you want to bet the hoodies end up being made in non union sweatshops in some third world country?

This has become about much more than what happened between Trayvon Martin and George Zimmerman. The vast majority of crimes are committed against people of the perp’s own race. That’s escaped the commentary.
the reality is obvious-- whites are not oppressing blacks, if crime is any measure of it, its actually the other way around.
If you dress like a thug, expect to be treated like a thug.
Zimmerman had reason to be suspicious of Martin, especially since that was his job as neighborhood watchman.
You know, I put much of the blame on the parents. Trayvon should have been in school, but instead, he was on 2 week suspension for an empty marijuana bag.
If I had gotten a 2 week school suspension, you can be sure I wouldn't be out on the streets. My parents would have made that 2 week suspension pure hell. Restricted to the yard, no friends over, no phone, no TV, & plenty of extra chores to help me spend my idle time. I hated weeding - the ants would eat me up. There would have been no candy & soft drinks from the store.
But no. Trayvon was watching a ball game with his dad, who obviously was not working. Trayvon was basically on a 2 week vacation.
Certainly, that doesn't entitle him to be shot, but actions & inaction, have consequences, many of which are not predefined or foreseeable.
Bottom line: If he had been in school where he should have been, he would be alive today. If he had been raised better, he would not have had drugs at school. If his parents had given a damn, that suspension would have been a very serious matter rather than a vacation.
