President Obama, employing his strongest language to date on the Supreme Court review of the federal health care overhaul, cautioned the court Monday against overturning the law -- while repeatedly saying he's "confident" it will be upheld.

I wish I could read all that he has diagrammed there. The top line is...

Relationships built on ?????????

The next appears to be a flow chart (the first box on the right is smudged out) going from ...

utilities ... banks ... corps

Then it shows $ money flowing from "corps" (was it supposed to be 'corpse?') to ????????

I didn’t hear Zero bitching about “unelected” when he was nominating that hack Kagan.

It was a brazen threat. If SCOTUS overturns Obama Care, then Obama will not comply with the decision at all, because it goes agianst “democracy.”

He wouldn’t be the first president to ignore/disobey a SC ruling.

From Michael Walsh:

Obama’s remark is the kind of bullying tactic we’ve come to expect from him — the only way he knows how to react to any real or potential discomfiture.

And that’s because this is a man who has never heard the word “no.”  All along his glide path to power, as he was handed off from one enabler to another, he’s been told he’s the kindest, bravest, warmest, most wonderful human being anyone has ever known, and he erupts in petulant frustration when reality intrudes upon his narcissistic fantasy.

But what do you expect from somebody who’s never faced real, concerted opposition unintimidated by the manufactured Obama “narrative”?

The only thing extraordinary and unprecedented here is such heavy handed demagoguing of the Supreme Court by a sitting President. SCOTUS ought to issue a reprimand of his blatant disrespect for the Constitutional role of the Court.

Thats the thing about the SC. All they can do is make rulings, but they can’t enforce them.

Since that was a quote from me; I wasn’t talking about enforcing any ruling. I was talking about issuing a statement reprimanding 0blahblah for his injudicious comments. Of course it would have no force of law but on the other side of that coin there is nothing in the law preventing them from doing it either.

I don’t think 0bumbler would have any choice about complying with their decision. If SCOTUS overturns the law Congress can’t fund it and the bureaucracies can’t implement it. 0dicktater can bluster all he wants but he can’t singlehandedly fund and administer health insurance for 320 million people. I’d be amazed if he had the endurance to finish filling out one application for an insurance policy for himself.

To hell with Romney. We need the airtight IMPEACHMENT/CONVICTION super-majority House-Senate of 2013 to teach them a lesson for good. And a joint Pentagon-Secret Service team to evict and escort them from the Executive Mansion upon declaration of GUILTY verdict on The Hill. SERIOUS TIMES.

“Ginsburg has already stated her views on the US Constitution - old goat.”

There’s something odd going on here regarding Ginsburg and Obama.

She is in very poor health, yet seems steadfast that she will hold on through his term and not retire. Why is that?

She is a Jew, is she not?

Perhaps, for all her leftism, Ginsburg is savvy enough to see that Obama is a Mulsim (if not in declaration, certainly “in the heart”), and, as a Jew, will not permit her seat to be filled by someone of his religious leanings.

I sense that deep down, she despises him.

My take. Could be completely wrong.

Not “decisions we don’t like”, decisions we consider to be plainly outside the parameters of the Constitution. There’s a reason why the left generally considers the Constitution to be a “living breathing document” and the right in general prefers to stick to the plain language as written. The left has no compunction in admitting that they consider it open to relativist interpretation. (They have rather the same view of the Bible).

And I don’t recall any Republican making thinly-veiled threats to the SC regarding what decisions they better make, especially on the silly basis of their being “unelected”, or pretending that it would be unprecedented for the SC to overturn congressional legislation on the basis of unconstitutionality. That’s their job!

He can try to make it a major election theme, but when people start paying attention after Labor Day, this will be old news. Gas prices will be sky high and Israel may have struck Iran. Who knows but the people will be over all of this by Fall.

questioned how an “unelected group of people” could overturn a law approved by Congress.”

Hey Barry I have an idea. If the Court overturns it, let's have that 2008 election over again, just to show them how widely supported you and your agenda are.

If you put the issues into three categories: social issues, national defense/foreign policy, and economics, at most Romney is as bad as Obama in the first of the three.

He has a liberal record on issues like abortion and gay rights, but I doubt he has the same degree of fanaticism about them as Obama does--and he would be bucking his party rather than being supported by it as Obama would be. On racial issues, I don't see him as deliberately trying to worsen race relations like Obama has been doing.

On the military and America's standing in the world, he doesn't have much of a record, but is it really plausible to think he would be as bad as Obama? Would he bow to the king of Saudi Arabia? Would he talk as if he thinks the US is no better than any other country, like Obama has? I don't think so.

On the economy, he would certainly be much better than Obama--he wouldn't be trying to destroy the free enterprise system in order to get to socialism, he wouldn't be invoking class warfare all the time.

Yes, I wish we had a real conservative who could beat Obama in the fall, but the ones who could have done so opted not to run. We need to focus on how bad another four years of Obama will be.

Did Justice Kagan leak the SCOTUS decision to Obama? I won’t hold my breath waiting on any investigation (even though NSA probably knows.)

I’m guessing that last Friday the justices voted to tear up the whole thing... Obama must be going NUTS trying to figure out what exactly they will be saying when they get around to publishing the opinion. I’m hoping that the Supreme Court will do their job and defend the Constitution and the People against this tyrant. Obama could go the route that President Jackson went I suppose - then again, I doubt Obama has enough loyalty within the DoD to attempt to enforce the law.

Seriously though, what in the world is Obama threatening to do if SCOTUS *dares* to do their job? I hope someone has asked that question of him...

Obama - if SCOTUS strikes down Obamacare (like you know they SHOULD) exactly what ARE you threatening to do? WHAT can you do as President to bypass them? Call in the military and do what? Force people at gunpoint to sign up for the program? EXACTLY WHAT is the plan if Obama doesn’t get his way?

Frankly, I’m sick of the charade that is Obama and this administration and ALL of their comrades in crime in various parts of society - if Obama think he can turn the US into Kenya like his Uncle he is sorely mistaken...

Everyone “knows” Pepsi-lite is better for you than Pepsi. Yet Pepsi outsells Pepsi-lite ...everywhere, all the time.

Obama will clean the streets with his Caucasian Mini-me..... The GOP-e won’t know what hit them.
