Did Obama pass the Bar?
Daily Mail ^ | April 4, 2012 | Don Surber

Obama’s little temper tantrum over the Supreme Court voting down his unconstitutional takeover of the health insurance industry may have awakened a sleeping giant — the Judiciary. Good lawyers know better than to tick off judges.

And your common graduate of Cleveland State University knows the Supreme Court rules on the constitutionality of the law. Apparently a Harvard education was wasted on the president because on Monday, the president said it was “unprecedented” for a “group of unelected people” to tell him no. Instead of studying John Marshall, Charles Evans Hughes and Oliver Wendell Holmes, Barack Obama must have been poring over George Wallace’s tirades against that “group of unelected people” in Washington.

...

What sort of 40-year-old American who is not a socialist blathers on about “negative liberties”? He wants unlimited government. That’s socialism. Judge Jerry Edwin Smith called him on that perverted view of constitutional government. Expect more of these confrontations, not less as Barack Obama has chosen anger, hate and spite as his re-election theme.

Haha! So U/Chicago hired him to teach Constitutional Law when HE WAS NOT A LAWYER! (though he had previously been one).

I just love that the judge gave Obama homework. He has to write a single-spaced 3 page paper on why the Judiciary is a coequal branch of government.

The only bar Barack passed was the soap.

Larry Sinclair says he bent to picked it up.

I have long said the man is an incompetent idiot and has never done anything successfully in his entire life. All of his accomplishments are the work of others on his behalf, up to and including his own election(s).

I would suggest that if he passed the bar, it was barely or by cheating. The man is in a special class of stupid.

"What they'll say is, 'Well it costs too much money,' but you know what? It would cost, about.
It it would cost about the same as what we would spend. It. Over the course of 10 years it would cost what it would costs us.
All right. Okay. We're going to do it. It would cost us about the same as it would cost for about hold on one second. I can't hear myself. But I'm glad you're fired up, though. I'm glad. "

Obama and his wife both once held law licenses that they had to give up under questionable circumstances in the late 90’s.

*******

Is there a courageous reporter out there who will press candidate Obama by asking him why he gave up his license in Illinois?

I believe that it is a legitimate question to ask any presidential candidate why he gave up his law license.

To me, if a presidential candidate who is a lawyer cannot practice law in his own state, then I would say that there are serious questions as to whether or not he can be an effective leader of the most powerful nation of the free world.

Do you have any article to point to that would give the details of this. I don't doubt it is true; but, would like to have something to read about it.

I had a long discussion about this subject with others over a year ago. I found quite a bit of information, including why Obama was disbarred. (He lied on his Bar exam)

Here is a link to where we discussed this issue. It might be what you are looking for. I go by "Diogenes" over on that website.

Unfortunately, I have seen many a Freeper make complaints about the judiciary that are similar to Obama’s attacks, when a judge strikes down or enjoins enforcement of a law that furthers our conservative agenda.

Here's what I wrote on the subject two years ago. As far as I know, nothing has changed regarding it since then. (I am called "Diogenes" over there.)

Don Surber: "What sort of 40-year-old American who is not a socialist blathers on about “negative liberties”?

The Doctrine of Negative Rights - or as Obama referred to it, the "charter of negative liberties," is the OPPOSITE of socialism, you idiot.

If Americans WOULD "blather on about negative liberties" a little bit more, we wouldn't be facing freaking collectivist armageddon now.

Yeah right, he loves soap — his favorite part was the bending over to pick it up.

I've heard he actually used ...

...much harder to pick up.

Walking away from a Harvard Law education is big, big deal so they must have committed something pretty egregious to forgo formal disciplinary action and the case against them must have been so airtight they had no hope of winning if they tried to fight their case.

Most likely the fact that they falsified data on their bar applications, like aliases and citizenship caused them to remove themselves before it became public, to their political detriment.

There have been may columns and opinions written as to why anyone who has gone through the tough trials of education and then passing the bar exam would simply give up a license. Not paying dues is an impossible excuse. She worked for a law firm and he was both involved in a non profit AND teaching. They could have snapped their fingers and had the dues problem (if there was one) go away in an instant.

There is something deeper in both of them giving away the "E" ticket.

It’s interesting to note if you check the same listing now the phrase “court ordered” is removed from the response.

Compare Obama's to Michelle's at my posting #42. Michelle voluntarily gave hers up in 1993 because of court action. It appears that Obama just gave his up because he didn't renew his license. His was good through 2008 and why would he need it after that? After all he had just become KING.

Poor Bill Clinton got shafted compared to the things this guy is getting away with.

Isn’t that absolutely amazing? Did we ever think, in those horrible Clinton years, that we would ever think he was just a piker and didn’t do that much wrong? Did we ever think there would be a worse liar and scammer?

With his evident drinking problem, I doubt he passed too many bars until he got taxpayer funded Crown Royal.

It is sickening that the media made a bigger deal about alleged cocaine use by George Bush (no evidence, no admission) and they rarely if ever said anything about Obama’s admitted cocaine usage.

I still find leftist and everyday folk who didn’t know that Obama used Cocaine, but they swear that Bush is a drug abuser.

Thanks Media. You leftist propaganda whores.

I should of said the Obama administration, not Obama (although the thought of him having to do it personally brings a smile to my face). The three pages, single spaced thing is in fact a requirement laid down by this judge asking for the administration to clarify the President’s comments that it would be “unprecedented” if the Judiciary struck down Obamacare. Obviously there is plenty of precedent and the court’s power to strike down laws as unconstitutional is at the heart of its coequal status with the Executive and Legislative branches even if they are “unelected” as Obama pointed out.

I have seen many a Freeper make complaints about the judiciary that are similar to Obama’s attacks . . .

Constitutionalists complain when radical blackrobes make law. Roe is THE poster child of judge made law. Recently the Ninth Circus imposed fag marriage.

There are no similar errors, nothing remotely close ever emerged from a conservative majority on any court.

Here’s the visual and the audio - he stumbles because he’s waiting for an answer through his earpiece and it doesn’t come...I’ve watched this fascinating evidence of his inability to speak without being prompted many many times, and always wondered why it wasn’t patently obvious to everyone - the man is a puppet, a flim-flam man, and everyone in that audience must have been hypnotized.

Passing six bars is a lot better than going into six bars every day! Of course forty years ago I would have argued the other way.
