Don't even have to think about it. Not voting, writing in a name or voting for Ron Paul. etc. is a vote for Obama. I don't want the blood of this country on my hands.

Don't be a jerk. THEY put the country in the hands of Obama by insisting on putting up McCain, and hogging all the nod and power, and you have "blood on your hands" if you don't kowtow to them and do what they want you to?

Listen to yourself!

Their vast derelictions, their snobbery, their clubby, "PLU" exclusivity and clinging to power is NOT your doing! Look at the vast sums they've lavished on their creature -- look at the polls wilt as they dumped lies and opprobrium on better men -- and somehow YOU are going to be responsible if their latex lizard doesn't win?!

God, what a stiff!

So you’d rather have a marxist than a mormon in the White House?

Texas votes on May 29th. Thanks for trying to shut us down, Tex. Spoken like a real sport.

By the way, the Bushes won't ask you in to drinks, much less supper, much less staying the night, just because you hauled water for them and got Rubber Rictus elected POTUS. You do know you'll always be Texas trash < /off pleonasm > to them, don't you?

Unless you went to Yale or something.

[DMcC] Romney sucks, and I have no illusions of what he really is, but four more years of Obama .....

White flags all over the place. What the hell is this, French Army maneuvers?

I'd prefer to think of it as Daniel Morgan tactics rather than French Army maneuvers. Buying time until there's an opening.

I already voted in the primary. Wasn't for Mitt, obviously.

However there’s no good argument to stay home and let downticket races suffer. Even if I can’t vote Romney, I’m not going to punish Tim Walberg for that.

Yes, that's true. Although we've got a notorious RiNO dumping big bucks to be our next U.S. Senator from Texas ..... we might "situationally" and contingently have to vote for a third-party candidate if this RiNO beats the much better, actually conservative Ted Cruz, to keep RiNO Dewhurst's totals down. He's been a PITA anti-conservative as lieutenant governor and we can't reward him with a no-sweat vacation trip to the U.S. Senate after he helped screw over GOP conservatives in the Texas legislature.

Total Nonsequitor. This was about the general election choice, talking to someone who thinks its maybe ok if Obama gets re-elected, not about the primary.

The Texas primary WILL matter - Ted Cruz for US Senate.

November - Anyone But Obama.

No, it IS about the primaries. It's about Bush Central ordering Santorum and Gingrich supporters to knock it off and kiss their boy. It's about big Republicans ordering little Republicans around and telling them their votes don't count -- don't bother to vote in the primary, it's time for everyone but Romney to drop out and start doing the Party Unity dance.

So sorry if I don't go along, and criticize you for participating in the RiNOs' calling their dogs to heel while we've still got primaries to hold.

Party first, Conservative distant second, eh? There seems to be a lot of that going on around here these days...

Yeah, I am so disappointed to see people lining up to surrender to the undead Romney -- someone mentioned Cthulhu upthread, this is like the marriage of Free Republic to Cthulhu.

But then, this is what those evil s.o.b.'s behind Romney have been planning all along.

FUMR!

PS. .... Big people agree ..... little people who have no pride, don't need the vote. We don't need elections, when all the decisions are already taken in Kennebunkport double-parlors.

As bad as it sounds the bottom line is if the Usurper gets reelected we will have a wide open contest in 2016.

I think the senate will go Republican in this election. Barak is lazy and will do nothing his last term but be on a permanent vacation.

if Republicans learn from their mistakes, we may win big in the following election ....

What makes you think they are going to learn anything? Have conservatives done anything this cycle that would prompt those people to drop their smugness and self-satisfaction?

Even if they lose 49 States, next cycle they will do the exact same thing all over again -- picking one of their clubby own for the Dedazo, as Mexicans call it, The Nod, the Person Whose Turn It Is.

(Who went to Andover and Exeter and Choate and Yale and Middlebury and Brown and Harvard Law and Georgetown and Sloan and JFK and ... and ... and ....whatever.)

You couldn't possibly be more wrong. There's nothing more frightening IMO than an unfettered Obama issuing EO after EO, turning the EPA loose and 45 un-elected, un-accountable CZARS setting rules for the next 4 years.

If I were you, I'd re-examine the premise by which you came to the conclusion you did ......

I’m going to vote against Obama in November. He is the most serious threat to this Constitutional Republic.

There's no chance of getting to 60 senators this cycle, but we've got another "doable thing" now -- which is impeaching Elena Kagan for her conuct in the Obamacare case.

With enough Pubbie senators, that could stick; of course, if 'Rat senators are going to keep voting like Communist commisars, the way they did in the Clinton case, then nothing matters.

The Dummycrats are defending 23 of the 33 Senate seats up for election this cycle. Getting to 60 R's would be a stretch. Anything's possible though. If it looks like Obama is going to get re-elected, people may look to electing a Republican Congress (House & Senate) as a way to check his power.

Still, Obama's over-use of EO's, CZARS, the EPA etc.. is enough to send chills down my spine that there's just no way in hell I want him re-elected. Obama will simply try to go-around Congress with EO's and force everything to the Courts. With how "quickly" our court system moves, the damage Obama can do with non-stop EO's is frightening.

This thread is disgusting.

The RNC country clubbers and their greedy pulled back wives are just lapping up this "Anybody but Obama" nonsense.

Anybody who supports a party that would nominate a mormon melchidzek bishop, coward, con man, and flat out liar is a moron.

There is no saving this nation by playing nice with the Washingtonians.

DC is the problem, and they will never be the solution.

There is no electoral solution.
