I’m not sure I understand the outrage here... both said that ANGC is a private organization and they can do what they want but if it were up to them they would allow female members. Seems a perfectly reasonable stance and actually the same exact one I have. The government has ZERO say so in what a private organization does with its membership. The issue is that NOW wants the government to force ANGC to admit women. Neither Obama nor Romney said they would do that.

Women should be in the NFL, too. Bad analogy. As far as I know women are not excluded from the NFL. It just so happens that there aren't any women good enough to play in the NFL (or D1 college football for that matter). that is a very different thing than being admitted to a private organization that is not based on athletic ability. ANGC is free to include or exclude anyone they want. It's not merit based like the NFL is.

No, I think Obama is bringing up the issue and trying to bait Romney to 1) enflame women against conservatives and 2) get the attention off of Trayvon.
Romney didn't allow that to happen with his answer.
