If you are laughing now, you are a total jerk. Our nation is dying, and fools are out there laughing as the ship sinks. Bob

I guess I can relax. I can sleep in Election Day. All of those independents and moderates will make up for me not voting for RINO.

Please, please, please don't sleep in. I absolutely despise Romney and will not vote for that big government liberal, but I will be voting. Especially if we are stuck with as unpalatable a pair as Obama v. Romney, we need as conservative a Congress as possible to minimize the damage done by either big government liberal. Note: I will be writing in an acceptable pair rather than voting for either a socialist who hates America or a Massachusetts liberal who wants America to be far more "progressive".

if the gop doesn’t stand behind Romney, we will have Obama for 4 more years -— which means our country (already on her knees) will fall. A write in is a vote for Obama.

I hope everyone that supported Santorum is happy with the result! If you had just gotten behind Gingrich, we could of had a REAL conservative as our nominee.

WE the people, have a right, to support the candidate of OUR choice, not yours or anyone elses.

I completely agree with you. I knew this years ago, but everyone thought I was over simplifying the two party cartel. Romney was anointed at the same meeting when they anointed that old gas bag traitor McCain. They both were picked to throw the fight. Face it people, we are now officially being run by the Chicago mob. The mob war has been over since the Dixie mafia lost to the Chicago. All Clinton and Obama represent are basically figurehead mob bosses.

"She’s saying that Santorum is endorsing Romney.

You didn't hear her correctly. She said Santorum DIDN'T mention Romney. All the rest of the people on Fox are saying the same thing. HE NEVER ENDORSED ROMNEY.

"You're right. Words mean things. That's why Rick is suspending his campaign. It's a word with a very specific legal definition and status that means he's allowed to continue to accrue funds to retire his campaign debt. If he ended his campaign, he would not be permitted to do so. "

Ok,so when will he be getting back in the race? Under what conditions will he "reinstate" his campaign?

Obviously, he won't be getting back in and under no circumstance will he "reinstate" his campaign. Once again it's over. He has ended his campaign.

The legal loophole you describe does not change the meaning of "Suspend" or "End". What Santorum just did is END his campaign.

If Rick were in a court room you might have a point but that's not the case.

and Engraved-on-His-hands,

We have to keep praying, God wouldn’t leave us with these
two awful choices. They aren’t choices at all!

Newt Gingrich is still in the race.

He has not suspended his campaign.

Shouldn’t Ricky have dropped out before he creamed Gingrich’s chances?

He is. I expect him back in 4 years after Romney loses. He’ll be stronger next time, and we’ll see him early next time.

Legally I believe he has to say “suspending” rather than “ending” his campaign or else he loses his delegates. And while Romney now will be the nominee, conservative delegates can at least push for a better conservative GOP party plank. Not much, but better than nothing.

Holy crap man.. you write extremely well! Wow, that was amazing, just how good your post was. You’re about ninety five percent correct I think in your predictions. Nice job putting down the words!

Step away from the crack pipe. Newt is/was/will always be unelectable. Do you seriously believe that a dude who got 6% and got half the vote of Ron Paul in Wisconsin would have somehow magically defeated Mittens if only Santorum had dropped out? Seriously?
