I'm with you Mr. K. I will be out to vote. I just won't vote for Romney.

I will not surrender the Senate and House to the GOP-E, or to Obama.

Most people I meet at the polling place aren’t voting FOR anybody. Their choice isn’t on the ballot, they are voting AGAINST someone else.

I would vote for my little black cat Misty over Obama.

And if Romney (who is NOT my choice) is the Republican nominee then I will vote for him.

This country is too precious to me to allow that communist, abortion loving fiend, American hating Muslim, another term.

Do you not realize that if Romney is the Rep nominee, Obama wins his second term anyway?

I would rather see Obama with a GOP congress to cram Obamacare down his throat, than Romney and a GOP congress going along with every liberal thing he does just because he claims he is GOP too

I would encoyrage you to think this through.

Obama doesn;t care who controls the Congress--he will sidestep them.

Absent a military coup or impeachment AND conviction by the House and Senate, who or what is going to stop him?

Can you honestly see the GOP leadership going for impeachment and conviction? If you do, please send me some of what you are drinking.

The best way to stop Obama right now, is to support Newt mto stop Romney from getting the 1144 delegates before Tampa. The clown posse can't even defund Obamacare.

Then this is a whole new race.

Obama must leave the White House on 1/20/13. That is the prime directive.

The issue is that neither party really wants to represent their base. The GOPe doesn't want conservatives of any stripe, and haven't for decades. They go to the same schools, live in the same areas, and attend the same parties as their DNC e counterparts. They don't care about fiscal conservatives, to be honest they think they are stupid. They don't care about social conservatives, they think they are backward hicks.

The DNC doesn't really like their base. They pretend to be all caring, but many have little use for those they champion. Look at the policies.

The real question is what now? I don't know if or who I will vote for. But it does appear we are heading to a major break up.

Amen. I've done 6 presidential elections by voting for the default (R), and the national debt just keeps going up. No more.

I am out. This BS has got to end. I will help end it. The party is just a blob of liberals and Romney will get smeared. Can you believe how they are cramming Haley what’s her name down our throats as Sarah LIGHT!! Rubio is finished with his “amnesty” bull crap. Some are saying this will finish whats left of the party. You cannot even name the chairman of the party!! This is WHIGS 2 and we now need a 3rd party to fish these losers.

I once thought that we might be better off with Obama in that Romney would end up turning in the GOP into a liberal party, leaving the conservatives with no home. But the more I know Obama, the more I realize that if he wins this election, the GOP is done, and so is the entire conservative movement. He’ll appoint at least two more Supreme Court justices like Kagan. It will be the end of capitalism. Very likely the end of the the republic itself. If he wins, the next 10 or 20 Presidents will be liberal Democrats. He’ll usher in 100 years of one-party rule, like they had in Mexico.

He may beat Romney anyway, and that will be the end in any event, but at least I will be able to say that I voted for his opponent.

If I vote for Romney, and he turns out to be as bad as I expect, I can easily join the chorus of dissent against him.

Where did you get your crystal ball?

You are so awed and frightened by Obama that you assume he's not capable of failing when he tries to do those things? You are so terrified and cowed of him, that you think everybody else in American and in Washington is going to roll over right along with you?

Your post is the epitome of blind fear, which has you willing to vote FOR Romney to surrender the Republican party to liberalism. As if voting for liberalism is somehow going to end it; as if cowardice is somehow not going to lose the battle AND the war.

All the things YOU think are certain with an Obama relection may or may not come to pass, but here's a certainty for you: if Romney gets the White House, liberalism WILL GROW STRONGER IN BOTH PARTIES and conservatism will be greatly weakened in the Republican party. There's not guessing, no crystal ball is needed -- it's simply a matter of common sense.

Here's another certainty for you: if Obama gets re-elected, conservatives will grow stronger in the Republican party and Obama will be at least as despised across America as he is now, very probably MUCH MORE despised.

I think your demon analogy has merit. And it scares the crap out of me at the same time. Because I think it’s too close to the truth for comfort.

NO MORE VICHY REPUBLICANS!

They are the worse kind of enemy, because some people who know better still defend them!

They are Sunshine Conservatives, when it dark or looking bad, QUICK WE NEED BOB DOLE OR GERALD FORD, someone who will lose graciously.

What does it profit a man if he gains the whole world but loses his soul?

Yep and all the squealing and whining in the world won't change that fact. Romney is a disaster who has already lost the race with his relentless slash and burn campaign. He's won his delegates in Obama strongholds while ignoring and insulting conservatives.

I'll be damned if I'm going to tell the GOP what they want to hear. They deserve to be afraid of the crapstorm rolling their way.

I’m with you! And when obama wins Rove and company can blame you and me for not voting for their man when, if the truth be known, another four years of obama is what they want.

Of course they couldn’t blame us for 2008 since we DID vote for their man mccain.
