She says that Seminole COunty WILL be the trial venue, in spite of all the jury tampering done by the media and race baters...

Zimmerman might feel safer in custody when so many posses are after him. Why not win a Not Guilty verdict and get on with his life?

What he will probably get is prison time. Once in prison and after he’s been raped a few times, he will be murdered by a Black racist.

Doubt it unless they hold him without bail, which is a strong possibility considering what a huge sellout this woman is. It depends on the judge. After discovery, I think the Martin family are going to be very embarrassed.

HG I’m very surprised at your comment. For weeks things have been coming out which painted a very clear picture indeed. Including the ‘bash’ marks on the back of the man’s head; the eyewitness who saw that Martin was on top of him pummeling him; audio of him screaming for help.

Do you honestly believe that if there was a shred of doubt that the cops would not have arrested him on the spot?

The police report stated clearly the man was bleeding from the nose and back of head.

It was like Rush pointed out today, if this man had been over in the sand pits of hell and a Islamic fanatic attacked, the outcome would have been the same and no one (except Hussein) would have been screaming for his head.

This is a political lynching pure and simple.

If he gets sent down, it won’t be for second degree murder. Maybe manslaughter or third degree. It’s entirely possible that he might get acquitted on all charges, but I wouldn’t bet my life on it, either. Being held in jail, however, it’s much less likely that he’ll be lynched.

Well someone needs to inform the SOW she isn’t the one who decides that; a judge does.

MSNBC is throwing up video from the night of the shooting (half screen) as a pretend perp walk during the prosecutors live statement as I type.

MSNBC needs a ladder to climb into the gutter.

The SOW is now saying that the Police conducted a thorough and complete investigation, but before the end of the investigation, all the publicity ruined their work and the Special Prosecutor had to take over.

SHE MET with Treyvon’s parents last Monday with her prosecutors and PRAYED with them. She asked them what could they do to make sure Treyvon got justice... WTF??

The prosecution team prayed with Martin’s parents?

Good grief!

I’m not a legal expert, so here’s my question:

If Zimmerman is charged with 2nd-degree murder, can a jury still decide to find him guilty of a lesser charge such as manslaughter?

I expected manslaughter. 2nd degree murder is much harder to prove.

Still, should give the situation some time to calm down.

If he can’t make bail or gets convicted and spends anytime in the can,he’s a dead man. Solitary will be his only chance and that is no guarantee.....

I agree that with an honest jury based on the facts (not the spin) reported so far, there should not be a conviction.

The key question of fact for the jury will be who initiated the physical aspect of the alteration.

There does not appear to be any actual evidence to rebut the defendant’s description of events that Martin struck him in the face, knocking him down and got on top of him beating his head into the ground.

The only possibility would be a new witness not previously known or the girlfriend stretching her claim of what she heard on the cellphone conversation to include hearing Zimmerman physically striking Martin.

The question as to who struck the first blow will open up rule 404 evidence as to propensity.

There will be a big fight over just what about the No_Limit_N_gg_’s character the jury will be permitted to hear to prove propensity to violence.

This is actually good news. The prosecutor knows that she will not get a conviction for 2nd degree murder, but she can say that she tried.

IMO she is trying get a jury to come back with a lesser "compromise verdict" like manslaughter, if that option is available.

She most certainly did use that stupid phrase ‘justice for trayvon’

I guess she doesn't realize how stupid and totally biased she sounds using the words of the rabble rousers, and I guess she doesn't care. This is pathetic and disgusting.

Wow.

She referred to “OTHER BRUTAL MURDERS” they have prosecuted.

She says, “The DoJ is helping us”.

And she says she’s “very proud”.
