Let’s stipulate: Activists on the left are free to exercise their rights of speech and assembly to boycott businesses whose politics they oppose. Conversely, activists on the right are free to exercise the power of their pocketbooks and refrain from supporting businesses that shun their values.
So, what are you waiting for, conservatives? There are coordinated shakedowns taking place right now that involve some of America’s most prominent companies who’ve chosen to surrender to progressive bullying and race-card opportunism. Silence is complicity.
On Tuesday, McDonald’s told liberal magazine Mother Jones that the company had “decided to cut ties with ALEC, the corporate-backed group that drafts pro-free-market legislation for state lawmakers around the country.”
The fast-food conglomerate follows in the feckless footsteps of Pepsi, Coca-Cola, Intuit (maker of Quick and Quicken Books software) and Kraft Foods — which have all withdrawn support for ALEC after drum-banging from Color of Change.

Several years ago I started a list of all the retail and food stores that were “off limits” per FR comments.
Eventually we got down to where the only acceptable place to shop was the St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Stores. Then someone posted an anti-Catholic screed and we were finished.

additionally, if people have decided to stop supporting those companies supporting anti-American / pro-progressive values ... they should take 5 minutes and call the company and explain why they will no longer receive your business
they fear the calls more then the loss of a few bucks.
if you feel strongly enough to call... you feel strong enough to tell your friends. that spread of ill will can crush a business.
Well, Walgreens (only items on-sale with coupons!), Diet Coke (always on-sale cheap), and a few Kraft products (which I can do without).

‘Climate friendly strategies,’ ‘Let’s Move!’ support now among criteria for winning government contracts

Want to win a contract to operate concessions on federal property? Be ready to explain how your business promotes Obama administration desires like “climate friendly strategies” and the first lady’s “Let’s Move!” anti-childhood obesity effort.
Proposal documents obtained by The Daily Caller reveal that the National Park Service favors those who promote these Obama White House priorities when deciding which concessioners they will allow to operate businesses on federally owned property.
The documents outline what criteria the National Park Service considered when awarding a concessions contract for operating the Silver Gull Beach Club and Breezy Point Beach Club on federally owned land in New York this summer.
These guidelines tell bidders that the National Park Service is “interested in supporting the goals of the First Lady’s Let’s Move! Initiative.”
“Describe how your proposal supports these goals, including measures that will encourage healthy options for food and beverages and active, exercise-oriented recreation,” reads proposal packages for both locations.

Don’t forget that Darden Restaurants is far left (DRI). Thet run Red Lobster, Olive Garden. etc. I left a Yahoo Finance post for them that could use some support.
