Notice: Free Republic has been in full rebellion mode since 2008 and will remain in full rebellion mode for the duration!

No more Doles!! No more McCains!! No more RINOS!!

NO ROMNEY!!

Those who cannot stomach rebellion might as well start looking for a new home on the net!!

Those who have ignored my hundreds of posts on this crucial issue or who have doubted me these last three or four years might as well get used to it. FR will never support the abortionist, homosexualist, socialist, mandate loving, constitution trampling liar Mitt Romney.

In case you haven't noticed, a TEA Party rebellion is on and Free Republic signed on years ago. There is no turning back. No more crap from the GOP-e!! They've screwed us for the last time!! Karl Rove and Mitt Romney, et al, loathe conservatism and loathe the tea party and took it upon themselves to use their money and connections to destroy nearly every one of our conservative tea party candidates while pushing their big government RINOS. That makes them the enemy. I will not reward that betrayal by giving them my support or my vote.

FR is and will remain a pro-life, pro-limited government conservative site!!

We are beholden to NO ONE!! We bow to no kings!! We bow to NO RINOS!!

I'd rather fight and die like a man than bend over and be screwed by a RINO!! I refuse to kiss Karl Rove or Mitt Romney's rings!! They can kiss my rosy red ass instead!!

FUMR!! FUGOP!!

Long live the rebellion!!

Hope my message is clear.

You have done nothing but answer a question no one asked. Certainly not the one I did.

So I understand that you cannot and such, babble on to a different topic. So be it. Your non-answer is instructive as to what you believe.

PS, Like it? Hell! I am proud of the fact that Romney voters oppose my words/tactics. Flack/target and all that.

Bedtime for Bonzo. I’ll sleep well knowing my sense of decency/morality is Romney-free and thus, intact. For you I recommend Ambien and a talk with whatever higher power you believe in.

I worked as Florida consultant with the Gingrich campaign.
Well isn't that some interesting wording.
Since you used the past tense did you get fired or did you quit?

Right?! Some people are acting like spoiled babies! They didn’t get the candidate they wanted, so they’re going to take their toys and go home rather than fight for the candidate that still stands and hold his feet to the fire if he’s elected!

This is Obama folks! No time to act like children at this point!

Whatever Romney is, he isn’t a Marxist and he most certainly does NOT hate the country! Sorry, but that notion is completely unhinged. Romey’s a RINO, but he is not a Marxist.

Can I point out that Newt indicating he could be open to being Mitt’s VP says something about Newt himself? Not necessarily a good thing about him? Would any of us self described/avowed conservatives be open to being Mitt’s VP?

“I worked as Florida consultant with the Gingrich campaign. I’m going to vote for Romney assuming he’s the candidate and I’ll press people to support him instead of helping Obama get elected to a second term.

If I’m zotted for that, so be it. It would be a bigger loss to FR to not have my 21 years of PROFESSIONAL political insight than it would for me not to have a place where I’m afraid to post my point of view.”

“PROFESSIONAL political insight” al a Rove, Perino, Krauthammer? Some of us are actually educated and can think for ourselves. We don’t have to have our point of view spoon fed to us. We’ve studied history and politics. Sorry, I’m not deferring to some “benevolent” political advisor to tell me who to vote for.

Santorum dropped out, and Newt seems to be indicating that he would support Romney.
Well when Newt comes out and directly does so then you'll have a leg to stand on.
Until then you're hopping around on one leg playing word games and attempting to persuade people with PSYOP BS.

Nice try Norm. I guess you don’t like it when people use your own lame tactics on you.

I’ll get you a hanky.

To vote MR, one ‘has’ to accept his positions.

I don't think this is logical. A vote can, and often does, simply say: I would rather have X in this position than his opponent. In today's process, this is fairly well know: how much support X has for his policies versus how much his election is due to the weaknesses of his opponent.

Further, electing a slew of candidates that oppose X on many issues would say: I'd rather have X, but I don't support him on these issues and I'm supporting those who will oppose him on them at every turn.

Also, each vote is not the final vote. A president can face a hostile party, in the House and Senate, after his first mid-term (if not sooner.)

As another point, your question could also be reversed to: To allow Obama to be re-elected you have to accept his positions. I don't think this is true either.

Thanks for your courteous reply.

To knowingly hand a Marxist an election is unconscionable!
If Mitten's positions are basically the same then aren't you handing a Marxist an election anyway no matter upon which side of the aisle he sits?

It takes a lot of hope to maybe think Romney could do that.

It takes a lot of hope to maybe think Obama won't do much, much worse, and that America can recover from the damage.

At what point do we decide that “being realistic” and voting for a fake conservative is just another step down the path to serfdom?

If the choice is between one small step and one giant leap, I'll take the small step. And yes, I will take being realistic over being unrealistic.

What try? YOU couldn’t answer the question, everyone here can read that for themselves.

Wanna try again? I wouldn’t recommend it. You cannot win. It is impossible for a conservative to vote for a flaming lib like Romney and remain a conservative. But you just go right on believing that voting for abortion, gays and global warming, and the man who embodies/promotes them through cash, rhetoric and LAW while a Gov, is a conservative value.

You look damn foolish.

Jim, I worked my ass off! Lots of us did! We even pushed to get Gingrich supporters as delegates just in case Romney didn’t get the 1144 before the convention so we can attempt to get a Gingrich vote on the third delegate poll in August...assuming we get the chance. I’m still pulling for a miracle, but if that doesn’t happen, delegates are going to be forced to vote Romney. Are those people less c
onservative that have to vote Romney in delegate polling? If they consciously can’t, they’ll be replaced with people who will.

At what point are we forgiven for being forced to do something we wouldn’t otherwise do?

Whatever Romney is, he isn’t a Marxist...
Well that's the problem isn't it!
And again, if he's got the same views how can he not be a Marxist?

...he most certainly does NOT hate the country!
He doesn't have to "hate" the nation, he only has to be indifferent to it...which he is.

You say “who,” “when,” and “how much.” I, and others, won’t.

Here’s a wild ass thought. Don’t do it and you won’t have to be ‘forgiven’ in the first place.

Being ‘forgiven’ means that you did something WRONG that you need to be forgiven FOR.
