ISTANBUL - Iran turned down a request by the United States for a rare bilateral meeting on the sidelines of nuclear talks between the Islamic republic and six world powers in Istanbul on Saturday, the official IRNA news agency said.

There was no comment from US diplomats, whose country has not had direct ties with Tehran for more than three decades.

"The Iranian delegation rejected the request of Wendy Sherman, the representative of the American delegation, for a bilateral meeting," IRNA said.

Funny the media spin on how these talks were "constructive" despite Iran's rejection to meet with the US delegation.

That's because the ol' standby "it's Bush's fault" is just not doing it any more.

I wonder if obama would reason out that Iran was insulted that the US sent a woman.

IRNA reports:

After the first round of negotiation wrapped up its work, the Iranian delegation met separately with Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu, Russian Chief Negotiator Sergey Riabkov and the EU Chief Foreign Policy Catherin Ashton.

Catherine Ashton is a woman so it looks like a clear snub to Obama.

How humiliating to have such a prissy, weak wimp on the international stage, while he is a ball buster with Boehner, McConnell and the American People.

“Wendy Sherman”

The Iranian men consider womyn to be about the equivalent of breeding goats. They ain’t gonna deal with a woman. Send Oliver North to deal with them! Sorry!,,,,,, but it’s the truth.

Obama's P.C. administration brings nothing but mocking laughter from our enemies.

It is embarrassing to have hussein and his cohorts in crime acting this way. I liken it to the love-struck teenage girl pining away for the jock; or some misguided, low self-esteem woman staying with an abusive spouse. hussein, and liberals in general, just keep coming back to the likes of Iran and North Korea, bending over and grabbing their ankles...

It really feels strange to say this, however I delight in seeing foreign countries’ leaders dissing Obama and his minions.

It truly shows that his early apology tours to the muslim countries were nothing but a show of how weak he really is and that they have no respect for him; and by extension, the USA.

Obama is a Communist/Marxist/Socialist cancer that has done tremendous damage to the US and he has to be expunged if this Republic is to remain. By that, I mean we have to remove him from office in November and terminate the employment of all of his non-elected workers in the Federal Govt.
