Dogs Against Romney Defends Obama Over Dog Consumption Revelations (WOW...)
Mediaite ^ | 4-18-12 | James Crugnale

Posted on 04/19/2012 12:05:42 PM PDT by tcrlaf

The founder of the grassroots organization Dogs Against Romney called the Romney campaign “desperate” for dredging up the revelations that President Obama ate dog meat as a child in Indonesia.

“It seems desperate for the Romney campaign to bring up something that happened to Obama when he was 10 years old, not preparing his own meals, in a country where eating dog meat probably isn’t all that unusual as if it compares in any way to Romney, as a 36-year old adult, in America, making the conscious decision to strap his family pet to the roof of a car for a 12-hour drive, and leaving it up there even after it got sick.”

It seems a little desperate, that the Romneys are pictured as being like the Griswolds of “Christmas Vacation” fame.

But it was Aunt Edna strapped to the roof, not the dog. The dog was tied to the rear bumper, and Clark Griswold just forgot all about the dog.

Until he was stopped by the Georgia State Patrol.

I don't care that he ate a dog nearly as much as that the bastard ate TIGER meat - to try to gain the mystical prowess of a tiger no less.

Such primitive ‘sympathetic magic’ idiocy is one of the things responsible for Tigers and Rhinos being endangered.

STOP EATING TIGERS. They don't give magical sexual powers. A male Tiger, if he is lucky, might have sex a couple times a year. Take Viagra and leave the freekin’ Tigers alone!

Yes, for the actual ‘sympathetic magic’ to have ANY validity it would be the other way!!!

I can imagine one male Tiger talking to another male Tiger and telling him ......

"Happened to"????? What, did his parents tie him to a chair and force it down his throat???

Some kids are apparently brought up with more of a moral compass and a sense of what is right and wrong than Obama was. I think the chances that I could have gotten my kid to eat dog meat at the age of 10 are about as close to zero as you can possibly get.

“I love when things backfire on liberals!”

This is the hilarious consequence of electing a president that has not been vetted. The lib/progressive/commies don’t know anything about him or even care to know. He is just their god, period.

Even his pacs and handlers and spokesmen haven’t read his stupid books. Before taking down their enemy, they better get to know their own guy.

Liberals getting all wee-wee’d up because they didn’t vet first.

The dog eating incident is just another example how, even if Obama is technically a natural born citizen (and I don’t know whehter he is or is not), his candidacy and election totally violated the SPIRIT of the natural born citizen requirement. I believe he was EXACTLY the type the founders were trying to prevent from becoming POTUS.

Even assuming he was born in Hawaii, and that his birth there, to an American mother, conferred NBC status to him:

1) He a Kenyan father, who never settled in America and expressed anti-American and anti-Captitalist views.

2) He was born in a state thousands of miles from the rest of the country, that only became a state a few years before he was born. No knock on Hawaii, but back in the early 1960s it was by far the least, typical American state.

3) He was adopted by an Indonesian national and spent his formative years in Indonesia, a country with a totally different culture (hence the Fido Feasts) and with a very, high level of anti-American sentiment.

Regardless of his technical NBC status (which is uncertain, IMO), no American who loves this country should ever have voted for a man with so many divided loyalties, who had experienced so much influence from nations and cultures hostile to American values.

Of course. You are an American living in America. Pets are not eaten. I doubt I could make myself eat dog either, unless I was starving.

In some parts of the world (e.g. Korea) dogs are not necessarily pets, but dinner.

There used to be a gif of a can of "Dog Penis Soup" that some Freeper used to post sometimes.

I don’t blame Obama for eating dog as a boy, under the influence of his Indonesian stepdad. I probably would have done the same thing in his situation.

That said, the fact that Obama was so deeply influenced by cultures totally foreign to and in many ways hostile to American culture make such a person unfit to be POTUS. If you grow up eating dog, you are not really what the founders where looking for when they insisted on natural born citizens as POTUS.

If he really is a natural born citizen (and I’m not sure he is), it is only in the most technical sense.

There are many Amercians out there who are legally not NBCs, but have been entirely, or almost entirely influenced by American culture and are totally loyal to America. While such individuals cannot be President, becasue we must uphold the Constitution, they wouldn’t be threats to our nation and its values and principles, the way Obama is.

WILMINGTON, Del. - Newt Gingrich on Wednesday chastised as “utterly stupid” a Twitter debate between top aides to President Obama and Mitt Romney over the two campaigns’ respective controversial histories with canines: “I have been watching the totally stupid exchanges between Axelrod and the Romney people today over dogs and this and that - it is just utterly stupid.”

Gingrich said, “One reason I’m running for president is to re-arouse that conversation in the American people that... this is a country with really big problems. And we have a president who deliberately trivializes politics into junk because as long as it is distracting us from the real problems, he is better off. Because when you get to the real problems, he has no answers.”

“I think we ought to be the serious party and we ought to blow right past that stuff,” Gingrich continued. “I think in that context, the more serious we are, and the more sincere we are, the better we will do as a party and the better we will do as a country and I believe the American people are hungry for leadership that transcends the normal junk.”

NOT Just Obama’s Childhood — Obama Did More for Michael Vick Than the Canine Vicktims – the Passion of Obama Posted on April 19, 2012

Remember this November… Obama expended more energy on behalf of Michael Vick than on Vick’s 100+ victims of dog-fighting and drowning.

More from the “more equal than others” presidency. If Vick was a third string bench-warming non-minority, do you think for a moment that Obama would have argued for leniency from the NFL?

According to a CBS News report, Eagles owner Lurie said Mr. Obama was “passionate about it,” adding that the president said “it’s never a level playing field for prisoners when they get out of jail. And he was happy that we did something on such a national stage that showed our faith in giving someone a second chance after such a major downfall.”

If dogs could talk, what would Bo say?

Related:

Obama does not thank man who rescued Vick’s dogs – January 3, 2011 by Don Surber Best Friends Animal Society Responds To Obama, Vick Second Chance Story – December 31, 2010 Commentary Magazine suggests that Obama may have been crassly pandering to the Pennsylvania electorate.: Why Did Barack Obama Endorse Dog-Killing QB?

Regarding the latter, had this been perpetrated in a deep red state like Texas, no doubt that Obama would have politically leveraged this to the hilt.
