Obama strategist sees Republican 'reign of terror' in Congress 10:16am EDT
By Bill Trott
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Republicans in the U.S. Congress are under a "reign of terror" imposed by the party's conservative wing that also has pushed presumptive Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney to the right, President Barack Obama's senior campaign strategist said on Sunday.
David Axelrod, in an interview on CNN's "State of the Union" program, cited the Obama administration's plans for immigration reform as an example of Republican intransigence in Congress.
The political process in Washington should not be "monolithic opposition to everything the chief executive wants to do as a political strategy," Axelrod said, adding that an "implacable group of Republicans" had blocked any possibility of immigration reform.
"I think there are a lot of Republicans in Congress who want to cooperate ... but they're in the thralls of this reign of terror from the far right that has dragged the party to the right," he said.
"Governor Romney and the party have gone way off to the right," he added.

Just blocking is the patriotic thing to do Axelrod. But they should be investigating Holder and the bundlers also.

It's much easier that way....

Axelrod has been released. Expect this kind of crap every week. They are desperate and they know what works to fire up their base. This is more Alinsky - name your opponent before they name you.
By the election we will be called every name in the progressive playbook.

Obama has ratcheted up the panic to DEFCON 1 — apparently Axelgrease’s DEFCON 2 from last week was not high enough. When do the nuclear missiles get launched?

Only hardcore leftwing parasites believe this crap from Axelrod. They had a governmental supermajority for two years and could have passed anything they damn well wanted, but couldn’t even pass a frickin budget. Your local Subway shop has a budget but the US government doesn’t.

Reign of terror, Axelrod?
Let's talk about a Reign of Terror. How about a President who:
- Orchestrates a gunrunning scheme intended to push gun control by selling weapons to Mexican drug gangs.
- Stops every domestic drilling and pipeline project he can, causing gas prices to skyrocket.
- Opposes Voter ID so he can continue Democrat fraud.
- Refuses to prosecute Black Panties who try to intimidate voters.
- Aligns with street protesters who violently attack businesses and people, and rhetorically attack 'the rich'.
- Promises to Russia that we will slash all our weapons, if Putin merely eases back until he is unaccountable.
- Defiantly circumvents the Constitution and appoints 'recess appointments' when congress is not in recess.
- Attacks the Supreme Court on several occasions with outright lies, and implies he will ignore their rulings.
- Attempts to force the entire American people to buy a product (health insurance) simply by virtue of their being alive.
Why yes. Let's talk about a Reign of Terror.
