Liberals know that Voter ID will stand constitutional muster. This is just a means of preventing those laws from having an impact on the 2012 election.

We cant have anyone bear the burden of carrying a picture ID to vote, but we can make them bear that burden to get on an airplane.

This is the ACLU and the NAACP helping Democrats to stuff the ballot box. As if the Democrats on the election boards cant do that on their own.

I worked the polls in PA where we were told to ask for I.D. as a dress rehearsal for November.

A couple people said it was a stupid law as they listed the individuals who would not have I.D.

Most of the complaints we got - and some of the people were really, really angry - were about the number of phone calls people were getting from candidates...not about having to show I.D.

The State should offer to provide Photo IDs at the polling places at the time of voting.
Just bring a piece of mail from a Bank, Utility Co. or Government Agency with your name and address and or some other form of ID and presto. You'll get a Photo Id and you can vote.
And they can't complain that it's too much trouble to travel to get the ID, since they traveled to go vote.

It’s one of the most draconian of such laws

Really?

I hadn't heard of a death penalty for attempted voter fraud.

Seriesly, doesn't anybody know what draconian means?

I just want them to produce one person who hasn't.....
1. Rented a car.
2. Cashed a check.
3. Bought alcohol
4. Rented a room.
5. Applied for assistance.
6. Applied for credit
7. Boarded a plane.

Plz add to the list.

Even my disabled little brother has a photo ID for benefits and services.

Why don’t other groups file counter suits against the ACLU suit?

If I were the elected body of Pennsylvania, my response would be to initiate the same background check and paperwork for voting as buying a gun.

After all, the ACLU supports the NICS check for exercising your Constitutional Right to own a firearm, how can they not support it for your Constitutional Right to vote?

My question for Republican state people is “Why don’t you pass a law that looks like the one the Supreme Court approved??” !!! Then every judge in America could be called to answer if it has already been approved why are you taking another bit out of the apple?

He says time of the essence, because if the law is not overturned, thousands of Pennsylvania voters could be disenfranchised.

This assertion is utter nonsense! The person who said this should be fined and jailed if he cannot support his claim that "voters" will be "disenfranchised" by the requirement that they have voter ID.

Without voter ID anyone can vote again and again, at any age. How can this even be an issue unless put forth by someone with a seriously disordered mind.

The ACLU is a fully-complicit arm of the DNC.

ACLU Files Lawsuit To Overturn Pa. Voter ID Law

HOW can there be a political solution to our problems, when the powers that be seek VOTE FRAUD at every turn? On Nov 6th, how can we be sure that Obama WASN'T re-elected? He will be counting the votes in a foreign country. The secretaries of state, most of them, have gotten elected with Soros money.

For these and other reasons, I no longer believe there is a political solution to our problems. I believe we are looking at a full-scale civil war, whether Obama or Romney is elected in November.
