Bachmann: Why did I endorse Mitt Romney? Two words: Barack Obama

REP. MICHELE BACHMANN, R-MINN./FORMER PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE: Good evening, Greta. Good to talk to you this evening. VAN SUSTEREN: All right, well, things certainly have changed. So I know that it's no surprise that this candidate -- that this next phase of the election gets rolled out, you are going to see every sound bite you ever made saying something about Governor Romney. You're going to have to answer to it. It's going to be in every ad. And you're going to do it to the other side.

So tell me, you called him a frugal socialist. Now what are you going to do? How do you -- how do you support him now? BACHMANN: Well, of course I can support him. Two words, Barack Obama. That's our alternative. We have President Barack Obama or we can have President Mitt Romney. It's very easy for me to come forward and support Mitt Romney because we simply have to win the election. He is our nominee. This week, we saw Newt Gingrich drop out of the race. And what I've said from the very beginning, Greta, is that I want to be a unifying voice to bring our party together at the right time. I've spent a long time working behind the scenes, trying to draw in people from the Tea Party, evangelicals, social conservatives. We all have to come together.

The future of our nation rests in the balance. If Romney pick a non-NBC such as Rubio we are finished and we will know that the constitution has been trashed. Yes we need to get rid of Obama, who isn’t even qualified to be POTUS. If you read the constitution on this subject there is one way to understand what the founders wanted. They say the the president has to be a natural born citizen and then they exempt themselves because their parents were not born here.

Why did I endorse Mitt Romney? Two words: Barack Obama

Poor Willard just can't get an endorsement from anyone can he.

This is going to be worse than "Who Gives a Sh!t '08".

I'm not sure how endorsing the candidate who is most like Barack Obama somehow solves the Barack Obama problem.

I'm not sure how endorsing the candidate who is most like Barack Obama somehow solves the Barack Obama problem. Why would anyone choose Øbama-white when they could have the real deal?

Romney is no good but to say he’s as bent on destroying this country as 0bama is stretching it.

Two words: Barack Obama

Actually, that is four words, according to my calculation. But then, I attended a pubic skoole.

2 questions!
1) NBC?
2) Where is the text about exempting themselves? That sounds great.

The only thing Mitt Romney has going for him is that he is not Barrack Obama. We missed a great opportunity in not having Newt as our President.

There Republican field is down to Ron Paul and Mitt Romney and Romney will be the nominee.

It's simple. As an elected Republican, Bachmann knows it's down to Romney or Obama in November.

Delusional people will reach other conclusions... that this is the year of the 3rd party, etc.

This whole deal pisses me off again! Can’t stand Mitt, but I will pull the lever for him. Jeeze! Lesser of two evils again. But I want zero OUT! I want his Cabinet OUT! I want his czars OUT! I do not want him picking Supreme Court Nominees! I pray we retain the House, and regain the Senate. That would put some restraints on Mittens, if elected. I just see a vote for a write-in candidate, who has no chance of winning, as a vote for zero. Really ticks me off,,,,BUT I WANT ZERO OUT!

Anyone but Obama. Even if it means Romney.
I was first a Cain supporter, since he is much more private sector. Unfortunately he fumbled some foreign policy questions, but still, he would have been far better than Obama. And then there was the high tech lynching.
Gingrich - flawed, but if he would stick to his guns.....
We could survive four years of Romney. Four more years of Obama - hell, that could be longer if he morphs into another Mugabe.
Allen West has been in the House for only two years. Ideally I think he would need a few more years before going to a higher office, and West has honestly expressed the same view (the humility of a true soldier). But we are not in a perfect world - maybe West on the ticket. Maybe we would wind up getting a younger version of Darth Cheney.

If you think “Barack Obama” is four words then, yes, your pubic skoole education had the desired outcome.

I endorse only conservative values.

Mittens is not included.

Politicians keep putting party over principle

Conservatives should never be endorsing liberals, it does not advance conservatism at all. I won’t be able to trust their judgement again.

This is the year of the leftist vs leftist. I do not vote for leftists.

I won’t be voting for President this year.
