And we will do it again if need be.

My great great great great great great great great grandfather Financed the Revolutionary war and died penniless.

Many Loyalists escaped to French Canada. Which explains A LOT about the problems going on up north.

It seems you arent very old if it was your 8th ggf who was around during the RW

That grandmother was my 6th ggm and parents of the other family were my 5th

They all started from scatch again and managed to build up a new life in Canada

None of them ever got their lands in the US back

There was nothing to come back too..

Their patriot cousins from New Rochelle, NY joined them in Canada...

Too bad about yours but he had more of a chance to prosper again than mine did...

Why didnt he ???

I cannot vote FOR RINO Romney.

I said I may, but..... I know I cannot.

He is a cultist, and a supporter of all the things I cannot stand about “0”.

Enough!

Does everyone have to make a decision on THIS day?
I can tell you that I WILL NOT support Romney financially.

I don’t matter to either POS so, WTH?

This is incredible in light of the 2010 elections.

Where did the Tea Party go? Apparently it was infiltrated and destroyed.

I should go and cut the lawn now.

Hey, I think I just tweeted on Freerepublic!

It will be off to the 'gulags' for you. . .and like-minded. No; they will not call them such; but they will find a way to silence you; to 'isolate' your voice.

Better; if you believe you have the power to marshal against the 'worst' of Obama; then why not use same; to protect America against the 'Romney' MO? Far easier, I would imagine; after all; Obama is much more the practiced/rehearsed and experienced enemy. NO?

I will take Ann as 'wife of POTUS' rather than the committed Marxist/Alynskyite we know as 'Michelle'. And so should all you who would otherwise, allow Obama, four more years to deconstruct America to the 'unrecognizable'.

Again; like her husband; Michelle has a history and a mission; whereby she consistently demonstrates her hatred of America; certainly 'White America'; and thus their shared commitment to 'changing' the 'face' of America; to one that more resembles, their own. A 'face' they share with Rev. Wright; Louis Farrakhan; and that of Professor Bell.

Can add here as well; the same image projected by the host of miserable, hate-filled; loudly - proudly - identified, 'enemies of America' all of whom Obama and Michelle, call 'friends'.

No, we do NOT have that to deal with; i.e. 'traitors' by any other name; and communists/Marxists, by definition. NOT by way of Romney and family; nor friends.

No one hates this country - and so desires 'change' - more than the current occupants of our White House (and those they represent). NO one.

Far easier to keep Romney 'on track'; than Fellow Traveler, Obama, OFF. . .

Yes, a lot more. This is war for the last hope of the Republic. The enemy is at the gates and there are loyalists, enablers and traitors within. If the enemies within prevail, there will never again BE any gates over which to be concerned.

Cicero said it 2000 years ago: The enemy within the gates (of your party) is a greater threat than the obvious enemy outside the gates. The enemy within will END the GOP and reduce the Conservative movement to a European Racist afterthought. Romney will be the NEW “Right” and Obama the “Left”.

An excellent warning. The price ABOers are ready to pay to avoid a confrontation with Obama is way, way too steep. I'm voting third-party so that my vote counts in the total as AGAINST either one of them, so whichever socialist wins, gets the smallest plurality possible, entering office with I hope as much as 66% of registered votes being cast AGAINST him. The reality is that it will considerably weaken his political viability, yes, even Omnipotent Obama's -- when he goes into office with 66% of the popular vote against him, Obama will be a pariah in his own party and moderates will be pariahs in the GOP.

Obama's own narcissism has him convinced of his own invincibility; sadly, a lot of Republicans are buying it, too, and Romney knows that the sale represents his only chance.

Common sense tells most folks that Romney is bad news; they have to be terrorized and bullied into voting against their better judgement. That is one helluva big red flag.

Why Christians and Patriots CANNOT vote for Mitt Romney

Romney disgusts me - not as much as Obama does but enough that I would not celebrate a Romney win. I have it easy in my state because Obama is certain to carry my state, so my vote doesn't matter. Still, I find the title a little too strong. We all have to decide for ourselves how to vote at the top of the ticket, after voting for the most conservative House and Senate4 possible. I will not vote for Romney, but I have it easy because my vote cannot affect the electoral college results. I believe the GOP "leadership" will learn enough from losing my vote and many others that it's worth "throwing my vote away" on a write in for Newt/Palin/Cain/Bachmann/Perry/Whomever. For those in swing states, more thought is required, and I don't know the right answer from this point. The best answer would have been to field a better conservative candidate and avoid this dilemma. I hope the GOP-e are willing to tolerate that option, and that the Tea Party is organized enough to make it happen in four years.

Do Conservatives vote for abortion promoters, gun grabbers, faggot marriage supporters and champions of government mandated health insurance? It’s a simple question. Yes or no.

You didn't ask me, but I have an answer: Apparently yes, when it's needed to avoid a confrontation with Obama, who frightens everyone.

If it's R vs O, I'll be voting third party in the General and OF COURSE researched conservatives all down ballot.

So what's the point?

I'm guessing for the same reason that I won't vote for Obama or Romney: my conscience. I won't be party to either man being elected. Whether Gargantua leaves the Presidential line blank, votes for Goode (my likely action) or some other third-party candidate, or leaves the line blank, what difference does it make to you? Conservatives, of all people, shouldn't have a problem with someone voting their conscience. You vote your conscience, we'll vote ours.

As far as Sarah Palin's support, I can make up my own mind. She might be my favorite politician but I don't have to agree with her on every issue. If you lived in Arizona, would you have followed her advice in the 2010 Republican Senate primary and voted for John McCain? I wouldn't have.

He has no record of being much of a conservative at all.

Fixed it for you.

We don't know what Mitt is exactly, aside from being a successful business person (which is a point in his favor since he at least understands the private sector)

Remember the pejorative term from the 1980s: corporate raider. It will reappear this fall, I'm certain. Bain Capital was more a corporate raider than anything else. Romney's skills as an attorney were far more in display than his business acumen. Separating corporate assets from the liabilities so that you can keep the former while sticking someone else the latter with is more in the legal domain than the business domain.

Even if Romney is the squish we all worry he is, he is STILL an order of magnitude better than Obama.

This is not as clear a call as the fear-mongers among us want to admit. Neither will do anything good for the country but Mitt Romney will most likely try to destroy the conservative movement from within the Republican Party and effectively freeze out conservatives until 2020 if elected. At least with Obama, the battle-lines with the conservatives are clearly drawn.

How anyone can believe that Romney is more dangerous to this Republic than Obama is beyond me.

I agree..it is beyond some more than others... But I'd agree perhaps beyond you as you have stated.

Both are socialists. You sign on at your own risk...I won't give my consent to either.

So you don't know if he will or won't be worse than Obama.....because "we don't know what Mitt is exactly"... but he's just got to better than Obama somehow.

Just give me a few examples rather than pimping your site. I provided you and others with a laundry list of why Obama is a disaster for this Republic.

Vote anyway you want, but don't give me that happy horsesh*t about how Romney is more dangerous than Obama being in the WH over the next four years. Once Obamacare is fully implemented, the debt increased $5 trillion more, DOD eviscerated, two new SCOTUS judges, the EPA and other Obama czars strangle the US thru regulations and executive orders, and an amnesty enacted what kind of country is going to be left to salvage?

Do you have any understanding of how dire the state of the nation is? Get real.

This isn't the same country any more. The U.S. adds one international migrant (net) every 36 seconds. Immigrants account for one in 8 U.S. residents, the highest level in more than 90 years. In 1970 it was one in 21; in 1980 it was one in 16; and in 1990 it was one in 13. In a decade, it will be one in 7, the highest it has been in our history. And by 2050, one in 5 residents of the U.S. will be foreign-born. Currently, 1.6 million legal and illegal immigrants settle in the country each year; 350,000 immigrants leave each year, resulting in a net immigration of 1.25 million.

Since 1970, the U.S. population has increased from 203 million to 310 million, i.e., over 100 million. In the next 40 years, the population will increase by an additional 130 million to 440 million. Three-quarters of the increase in our population since 1970 and the projected increase will be the result of immigration. The U.S., the world’s third most populous nation, has the highest annual rate of population growth of any developed country in the world, i.e., 0.963% (2011 estimate,) principally due to immigration.

The nation’s immigrant population (legal and illegal) reached 40 million in 2010, the highest number in our history. The U.S. immigrant population has doubled since 1990, nearly tripled since 1980, and quadrupled since 1970, when it stood at 9.7 million. Of the 40 million immigrants in the country in 2010, 13.9 million arrived in 2000 or later making it the highest decade of immigration in American history, even though there was a net loss of jobs during the decade. Growth in the immigrant population has primarily been driven by high levels of legal immigration. Roughly three-fourths of immigrants in the country are here legally. With nearly 12 million immigrants, Mexico was by far the top immigrant-sending country, accounting for 29 percent of all immigrants and 29 percent of growth in the immigrant population from 2000 to 2010. The median age of immigrants in 2010 was 41.4 compared to 35.9 for natives.

87 percent of the 1.2 million legal immigrants entering annually are minorities as defined by the U.S. Government and almost all of the illegal aliens are minorities. By 2019 half of the children 18 and under in the U.S. will be classified as minorities and by 2039, half of the residents of this country will be minorities. Generally, immigrants and minorities vote predominantly for the Democrat Party. Hence, Democrats view immigration as a never-ending source of voters that will make them the permanent majority party.

Since the 1965 Immigration Act, our pro-population growth immigration policies have fueled major demographic changes in a very short period of time. In 1970, non-Hispanic whites comprised 89 percent of the population; today they are 66 percent; and by 2039, they will be 50 percent. The Democrats, under the banner of multiculturalism and diversity, have forged a political coalition that depends on individuals coalescing around racial and ethnic identities rather than the issues. The continuing and increasing flow of minority immigrants, mostly poor and uneducated, provides a natural constituency for the Democrats, which see them as their principal source of political power.

Fine vote your conscience. What I have a problem with is the proposition that Romney is more dangerous to the fate of this Republic than Obama, i.e., it is preferable to have four more years of Obama. That is insane. There is no comparison between the two. An Obama win will essentially destroy this country. There will be no coming back. Time is against us along with demography.

>>And then in 6 months you will come walking back into town sans all your luggage and we will say “I told you so” in the most firm but charitable way possible and then begin working together opposing ALL that Obama tries to do.<<

What makes you think that we will survive six months into BOs second term? The only “town” to walk back to will be Communist with a sprinkling of Jihad.

Where exactly do you suggest we walk to?
