With the last round of elections the EU has sealed its fate IMHO, the second the new leaders start changing the rules is the second Germany will tell them to stick it where the sun don’t shine.
Let Germany and Greece meet on the battlefield.......of Brussels!
popcorn...
Springtime for Merkel and Germany
Winter for Greece and France
Hopefully Merkel won’t cave...Germany is the most successful country in Europe - even being devastated by a Dictator and losing a huge war did not destroy their work ethic ‘gene’- they work hard for their Socialist entitlements, they understand that only the people, not the government, can provide those handouts. Spaniards and Greeks are of a different disposition - 80% of them don’t mind being poor as long as the government takes care of them.....they don’t understand what the Germans do nor do they enjoy hard work.
No more “German Grease” to “Grease” the skids of the politicians in Greece.....
Equivalent Statement
“Chinese warns US: no cuts, no aid”
The results of this election might have a silver lining. If Greece follows through with breaking the agreement and Germany stands firm, then having Greece flushed down the toilet may get the attention of the rest of the continent. This might far better than having a couple of free-loaders dragging down the rest of the economies for years.
Anybody with a wit of common sense knew Greece had to be kicked out of the Eurozone back in 2008. Instead, the idiots in Brussels decided to drag this process out for 4 years and cause the contagion to spread.
The bad thing is that our own politicians are barely less stupid than they are.
“Germans warns Greece”
Is Germany bluffing?
Good. Germany sticking to their guns. Pun intended.
Germany is showing who is the BOSS.
So the Germans will starve the Greeks. Won’t be the first time.
That’s OK.....France will send them some warm baguettes and snails.
There could be another election in Greece if no one is able to form a government.
Some new “anti-austerity conservative” party helped prevent the main conservative party from winning a majority.
