BREAKING: Ron Paul to end active campaigning
CNN ^

Posted on 05/14/2012 12:02:59 PM PDT by mnehring

An announcement from Rep. Ron Paul indicates that the Republican presidential candidate will no longer actively campaign for the GOP nomination, but will continue to work to secure delegates at upcoming Republican state conventions.

"Moving forward, however, we will no longer spend resources campaigning in primaries in states that have not yet voted," said Paul, in a statement released Monday afternoon. "Doing so with any hope of success would take many tens of millions of dollars we simply do not have."

Ron Paul is not going to hinder Mitt Romney from getting the nomination. Period. You sound as crazy as the loony paulbot cultists when you post stupid things like you just did.

Watch and see what? Paul's had plenty of time and other than making a mess out of a few county/state GOP conventions, he's achieved squat when it comes to winning the nomination or stopping anyone else from doing so.

You are making a fool of yourself, as usual. Capiche?

So editor-surveyor, what happened? Didn't you say we should "watch and see" Ron Paul stop Romney from being the nominee? Are we still waiting now that Mitt completely destroyed Paul in Texas and easily has the delegates necessary to be the nominee (not even counting all the additional delegates Romney will get from the remaining states)?

I think the Washington Times said it best this morning:

Romney wins Texas, clinches GOP nomination; Texas Congressman soundly rejected, returned to obscurity

So you were wrong again editor-surveyor. Perhaps it is you that shouldn't be opening your "big stupid mouth".

Maybe going forward you should think before saying really dumb stuff on political forums that you can be easily called out for later once you are predictably proven wrong.

Are you really that dense?

I never said Ron Paul was going to win nomination. The point is to get behind the force that can improve your life, but way too many are just as stupid as you and cannot work toward an effective strategy.

Yes, the GOP has sealed its status as the Party of Stupid for generations to come.

I’m sure you’re happy as a clam, but wait for the chowder cook!

No, but you clearly are and have proven that over and over again on these forums.

There was NO WAY Ron Paul was going to stop Romney in Texas or anywhere else. Ron Paul had zero chance of preventing Romney from winning the nomination. That you thought he did, and made a fool of yourself by telling others to watch and learn, simply reminds me that you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about when it comes to politics.

Only because there are too many moronic donkeys like you that are about 35 IQ points short of being able to strategize their political actions.

All as happy as clams in a big copper pot.

So, as usual, you make statements on the forum that turn out to be completely wrong - and all you've got to come back with are insults against the very people who pointed out you were incorrect in the first place.

Face it, you are about as politically ignorant as they come. You really just don't know what you are talking about.
