wo Earths would be needed to sustain human activity by 2030, report finds Report shows animal species fell 30%, wealthy countries do the most damage By Meghan Neal / NEW YORK DAILY NEWS Published: Tuesday, May 15, 2012, 9:40 PM Updated: Wednesday, May 16, 2012, 6:49 AM

Planet Earth in a tight spot.

Mankind is draining the earth's resources so quickly the globe would be bled dry before the end of the century at this rate, a new report shows.

Humans are living outside their means, depleting natural resources like forests, air and water 50% faster than the planet can renew, according to the 2012 World Wildlife Fund's "Living Planet Report" released this month.

If the trends aren't reversed, by 2030 we’d need more than two Planet Earths to sustain human activity, according to the study.

“If we just do business as usual…we’re just going to continue moving in this direction. At some point, the earth’s going to just give out. We don’t know when. But that’s a pretty scary thing to think about,” said Colby Loucks, director of conservation science at WWF. “The question is, we don’t know what the tipping point is.”

According to research by the WWF the demand on the planet’s natural resources has doubled over the last 50 years, with most of the burden falling on poorer nations.

Wealthy countries can have up to five times the "ecological footprint" as low-income countries, because consumption is much higher.

This is nonsense, Hank Johnson says if you put that many people in Texas, it will tip over in to the gulf! Hmmm, problem solved!

We have heard this bs for decades to sell and push birth control and abortion on the non chosen ones.

All liberals, who believe in this bs, should just stop, breeding and breathing.

For crying out loud! In the 70’s it was THE ICE AGE!!!!!!

When the liberals move NYC, Miami, SF, La, NO, Houston etc inland to avoid the massive rise of seawater caused by “global warming”, I might, repeat might, take some of this garage seriously.

On Average you can get 4 people per square yard. (As in when you are getting close together for a group aerial shot.)

Pol Pot, please pick up the red courtesy phone.

This is what those lunatics REALLY want.

Back to the “year Zero”....

Hey wait.... don’t we have someone in there trying to do the same things right now?

Sorry, but each person doesn’t need a sq ACRE just some sq Ft and it comes to about 1,2118 sq ft per person. A Family of 4 would not need 4,800 sq ft. If you build apartments, NYC style, there would be plenty of room

sounds GREAT....when do we get the Soylent Green, I'm famished

I like this idea...one a Red Earth and one a Blue Earth...of course the Blue Earth will very soon become crowded again and they will cry that the Red Earth has more room per capita than the Blue Earth...let ‘em eat cake!

Probably the reason the super wealthy globalist would like to see several billion people killed off.

Governments too now look at people as major burdens, heavy luggage, who question the ruling class overlords and are using up all the resources, "They" own.

No joke.

I heard on Rush one day that if you moved everyone on the planet to Texas each person would have like a half acre to live on

Rush said so did he?

Of course with 8 billion people jammed into the wind swept plains of Texas, they'd be up to their necks in human waste, and killing and eating each other.

No worries though, with the amount of illegals moving into Texas, and those having babies, I'm sure you'll find out.

Dallas Parkland Memorial emphasizes care over nationality, is top hospital in noncitizen births in Texas

Dallas County's public hospital is ground zero in the growing controversy over babies born to illegal immigrants.

Parkland *alone* handled 11,071 births last year to women who could not provide proof of U.S. citizenship - or 74 percent of the total 14,872 births at the hospital. Most of these women are believed to be in the country illegally. It was the busiest hospital in the state for such births.
