Elizabeth Warren pulls even with Scott Brown in new poll
Boston Globe ^ | May 23, 2012 | Michael Levenson

Elizabeth Warren, emerging from what many consider the roughest patch yet in her Senate campaign, has pulled into a virtual tie with US Senator Scott Brown, according to a new Suffolk University/7News poll.

Warren, the presumptive Democratic nominee, has the support of 47 percent of likely voters in Massachusetts, compared to 48 percent for Brown, a dead heat in a poll with a margin of error of plus or minus 4 percentage points.

Having the accidental Brown in the Senate is like a little bit of gravy that about to spill over the corner of the plate. Maybe you soak it up with a piece of bread if you’re hungry. It’s naive to count GOP Senate heads and presume Brown will be there. And even if he is, he’s totally unreliable. Point is, that election is tough to care about.

Well, with Senator Fauxcahontas, the silver lining is at least we`ll have a new line of MA jokes.

Funniest part is.. they take themselves really seriously up there.. they have no idea we`re not laughing WITH them...we`re laughing AT them.

Yes let’s not believe the poll but boy, the polls showing liberal Romney ahead of liberal Obama are to be gospel.....UGH! Can’t have it both ways just because you like the results.

Hmm..well, it’s not impossible that she’s neck and neck with Brown. I still think he will win in November, though. He’s not exactly the ideal conservative, but he’s been a heck of a lot better than anything we ever got from Kennedy, or will get from Warren.

Brown’s voting record, btw: http://votesmart.org/candidate/key-votes/18919/

(The “Nay” vote of Kagan alone makes him a keeper in my book!)

Go Brown. Go Sean Bielat.

Lots of assuming going on there.

I am a witness to the E Warren fiasco, no fan of Brown or Romney.
Just commenting on the poll from Suffolk U... and you?

Well, Franken did win in Minn and I never thought it would come to that either.

In mASSachusettes, they would rather go for the full blown lefty rather then the left of center dude. What does that tell you about attracting the moderates.

Along with a few other of those NE colonies, I’d give mASSachusettes back to the king in a heart beat.

Paid liars and hacks... a prime example of why our Republic cannot survive without MASSIVE change back to a moral society that lives under our Founding principles.

Tom Lang is a radical gay activist who published all the names and addresses of the Mass. residents who signed a petition against gay marriage several years ago.

Scott Brown invited Lang and his ‘husband’ to the Washington signing of the repeal of ‘don’t ask, don’t tell’.

They’re both driving us off the same cliff. Ultimately Brown also thinks gov is the answer, not the problem. Hopefully other RINO’s will learn something if Brown loses.

A rule from mathematical statistics:

Approximately one in every twenty polls will be outside the margin of error. So even if this poll is completely honest and methodologically sound, there's still a very good chance that it's simply the “1-in-20” exception that proves the rule.

Franken won with something like 42% of the vote because of a third-party candidate--and a lot of voter fraud.

We have been joking about Elizabeth Warren's pathetic dishonesty but that could be a plus for her in Massachusetts.
