What is the city of Tombstone doing for water in the mean time?

You watch. The Forestry Comm. will next complain that all those people will do more damage than the equipment would.

It’s not smart to start a water war in the west.

Yep, and in a town named "Tombstone". I have been there many times. Had a customer who owned a lumber yard there. The locals are still tough people, much like most of the rural West, especially in AZ. I traveled to Tombstone every 2 weeks for years.

Maybe we should require that when Forest Service personnel get sick, they may use only remedies and treatments available as of January 1, 1900.

Shades of The Milagro Beanfield War.

Only this time Robert Redford would be on the side of the bad guys.

If you get in *your way back machine* Rush said on his show about 4 years ago that water was going to be a big problem as government controls it, and not the states and citys...

Back during the Klamath Basin ‘battle’, didn’t we have a ping list for environmental activism? Anyone remember who has that, now?

Miller Canyon in the Huachuca Mountains is absolutely gorgeous this time of year!

I am somehow reminded of the quote “the judge has issued his verdict, now let him enforce it.”

the U.S. Forest Service refused to let the city use heavy machinery in some areas, citing the Wilderness Act

And does the Forest Service also require that the shovelers dress in 19th century clothing and lunch on Victorian era food? We have lost our country. We now just exist to jump through the bureaucratic hoops of our unelected overseers.

Not me. Jeff may know. Also seem to remember someone called Grandpa Dave but a quick search didn't locate that name.

Grandpa Dave rings a bell for me, too. And I don’t see a FReeper by that name now...
