Word on the ground is not good. We are gonna lose this.”

“Word on the ground” from what credible source exactly? You?
An anonymous poster on FR, with history of posting doom and gloom for Republican candidates?
I remember similar posts from jokers like you on the day that Chris Christie was elected Governor of New Jersey. Apparently(according to these posts) the unions and whatnot were winning it for Corzine..that is until Christie proceeded to clobber Corzine good.

“50-48 voters approve of changes to union law”

That should make the MSNBC KLUX KLAN absolutely homicidal.

I'm hoping for a Walker "win" here. I think too many people in that state have literally been oppressed by the union's and collective bargaining. It is insanity what is being asked of the tax payer and the numbers are not lying, Walker is making a difference.
If Walker is defeated tonight, that state will be a real interesting study on parasitic colonies; the state will be bankrupt in short order once the union's and state commies devour all Walker has accomplished monetarily. Mark my words, the first order of business is going to be back pay for the unions with "retro" dues from its (re-forced) members.

But there are a total of 8 shares being offered for sale at the moment. Things won’t start moving for awhile there.

I voted this morning in our small community. I was #287 after just 1 1/2 hours. That’s a great pace. More news later when my husband votes sometime very soon.

We’re so excited here, we’re so nervous here in WI and the e-mails to friends, the phone calls to supporters have been flying all day. We’re trying to do our part. Lots of people who normally do NOT vote sure did vote today.

Thanks for your support from all across the country. We DO appreciate your prayers as well.

Obama stayed away because he doesn’t want to be connected with the obvious fraud that is being pulled today.

I believe that he stayed away because the WI Dems asked him to stay away.

LOL, well somebody ought to tell this asshat Dem those old people he seems to despise were once young people themselves.

Funny how actually LIVING life can change your perspective.

“Exit polls published AFTER 5 PM”

I believe that would be after 8 PM when the polls close, no?

I’m confused about this voter ID thing. On the one hand the voter ID was put on hold and yet I read here a voter was turned away because he tried to use a blank check as proof of his address. Does each voter need to prove he or she is a resident by showing proof?

If that is the case then it’s not quite as easy to cheat as I had thought. I also understand there are a ton of Tea Party and other interested Conservatives at the polls to challenge anything suspicious.

So what is the real deal, anyone?

I’m wondering if the long lines to vote are such a bad thing. Sure, it’s a pain, and really inconvenient, and requiring the sacrifice of your personal time, but doesn’t having to stand in line to vote each time slow down the “vote early, vote often” people? If someone spent one to two hours in line at each place, they’d only be able to cast maybe half the ballots they would otherwise.

If it is true that Republicans turn out in more numbers to the polls when it rains, would it follow that the Dems would be less likely to go to the trouble if voting required more effort?

As far as I know, if you are in line in Virginia before the polls close, you still get to vote. Is the law in WI different? If it is not, what would be the purpose of keeping the WI polls open after hours?

Please, you folks who are from or know about the demographic makeup need to tell us who are clueless if the County or district being reported is generally Rep or Democrat.

Thanks
