What’s in Menominee County? Why are they taking so long to report?

Is there a suicide watch on over at DU yet?

They must be on lockdown over there. I can't find a results thread over there. The latest about the Recall Election I can find there is that Holder and his people will be monitoring the election.

I hate to crap on everyone’s party, but this won’t be over if Barrett is within 5 percent at the final.

Walker's lead is currently 169,451 votes and the lead is growing while the percentage lead remains very stable. They might need to find 200,000 + votes to steal it. That is a tall order under this kind of national scrutiny.

Palin would have CRUSHED Obama. Romney may eke out a victory

The big difference is down-ticket. Palin would have created much more energy and would have been amazing!

1835 of 3424 precincts now reporting - 54% of total!

Walker - 58%
Barrett - 41%

Barrett only leading in six of 72 counties. By all measures, it is a GOP blowout!

Color Wisconsin RED for your November electoral map!

I don't usually do this but I wandered over to DU for a little schadenfreude...there are actually threads there screaming that people are still waiting in line to vote in the urban areas! Hilarious stuff. Only now, I have to scrub my browsing history for having been there.

I’m hoping the unions are listening because I so want this BS to be over. We shouldn’t have even had this recall election. Wisconsin needs jobs, not a recall of the Gov.

Interesting results out of NJ tonite - two left-wing Dem congressmen, Pascrell and Rothman, had been redistricted into one district. The primary was extremely nasty - Paterson in Pascrell’s district has a high Muslim population and some radical elements in that community had posted extreme antisemitic bills for Pascrell and against Rothman over his support for Israel. Pascrell is winning big, about 70-30, but the Republican nominee for this district is Shmuely Boteach, a rabbi who does a lot of commentary on TV. A heavily Dem district, but Boteach is a character and may make a run for it, especially given the nastiness of the Dem primary.

1. It's over

2. The margin will exceed 5%, at any rate, probably more like 7 or 8 points.

Yep, he looked real creepy the way he kept saying it, like they have a million votes hidden somewhere. Wouldn’t put it past them.

The lead is dropping.

I don’t trust any of them until all of Dane is in. Rock, which is also blue has only 39% reporting.

Good point, I thought about that as soon as I posted.

OTOH, who wants to sound like Pete?

God Bless Wisconsin, and God Bless Gov. Walker!

Isn’t it amazing what someone can accomplish when they stand up for what is right?
