Perfect. Then, based upon his comments yesterday, he can write a book about his life with Moochelle: “Going Down: The Agony of Sex.”

“Starting to look a lot like 1980 with the bickering between Carter and Kennedy.”

Good point. To reinforce it I might ad that Walker got 30+% of the union vote. A month ago I’d have bet on Obama but he is self destructing. I think the Clintons are making it clear that they are different on the economy so the can run against Romney in 2016.

You might be right.

I’m convinced that O is toast. The Dems have no chance unless they change the game. Hillary as VP might have done that.

If she won’t (which might be her real stance, or might be her public stance while the dance goes on behind the scenes)... the I don’t see how O can pull it out this time. There isn’t much enthusiasm for him anywhere.

In 2016 she’ll be getting pretty long in the tooth, and so will Bill. The window on the Clintons’ revanche is closing. Thats why I figured they’d have to move now, just based on their ages. But, 2016, they’re seventy. I guess they could still do it. I don’t think either one of them will ever retire willingly.

Hardcore Democrat Political Strategists Are Trying To Find Way To Dump Obama.

American public interest is focused on the daily doings of the Republican candidates for the presidential nomination. But while we watch Romney, Cain, Perry, Gingrich and the also-rans fight it out over supposed sexual harassment scandals with an extra helping of fried chicken at a dozen nightly Iowa dinners, the real fight in going on in Washington.

Behind the scenes, Barack Obama is fighting for his political life. His opponents are not Republicans, but his fellow Democrats…. and right now, Obama is losing the battle for 2012.

(By the way, being a retired network newsie gives me the time to dig into the really meaningful stories such as this, not just worry about getting the daily hogwash on the air before deadline. This story comes from proven sources in DC, NY and Chicago, both Republicans and Democrats. It’s been in the works since before Labor Day, but now it is time to unravel what is going on behind the scenes in American power politics.)

To understand what is really happening, one must separate the ideologs from the party faithful. On the Republican side, the candidates for the Presidential nomination are fighting an ideological battle. Each is trying to portray himself or herself as the most conservative, without being too conservative to lose their appeal to the middle of the road voters, the ones who actually decide every election. Each candidate tries to portray themselves as the perfect champion of family values in their endless days of television coverage-saturated dawn to late night appearances at any event that promises more than a dozen willing ears.

But in Washington and New York, a very different battle in underway. This is a quiet chess game of move and countermove as long-standing Democratic power brokers, who have decided that Obama is probably not capable of reelection, try to decide how best to push him aside, or at least prevent him from drowning the Party as the S.S. Obama sinks in ’12.

This is not an ideological fight. Once it goes public, Dems will disguise it as a moderate vs. liberal vs. far-left battle, but it is not such a contest. This is pure, raw, bare-knuckles politics. This is the long-standing Democratic National Committee officials trying to save the Senate, and even hold on to the White House, even if it means jettisoning Obama. As Conservatives read this, please put our own ideological feelings aside, and remember that to win a battle, you must first understand the enemy. Also, never underestimate the enemy, and right now, the hardcore Dems are forming a very good plan to win in 2012.

The DNC officials, like their RNC counterparts, are smart, highly skilled political pros. They are not nearly so much ideologs as they are power brokers and power players. They read the poll numbers, know where the economy is going, sense the national mood, and are willing to do anything to retain what power they can. The inescapable truth is that Obama is linked to everything American’s currently see as wrong with America and the world. Things will get worse, the OWS movement will come back to haunt Obama, and James Carville’s admonition that “It’s the economy, stupid” will be truer this cycle than it was 20 years ago when that mantra ushered Clinton into office.

Right now, reality-facing Democrats are divided into two camps. One group believes they can win individual races by distancing themselves from Obama. For example, during the president’s recent so-called Jobs Bill bus tour in Virginia, former governor and DNC chair Tim Kane would not willingly appear in public with Obama. Kane is running for the Senate and knows any attachment to the President would kill his chances for victory next year. Kane is just the latest and most public of the Democrats distancing themselves from Obama, but the trend is rapidly increasing.

This is not surprizing, considering Obama’s poll numbers. The reality is that in any state or Congressional District where Obama’s support would do any good, the chances of the Democrat being elected without Obama’s attachment are almost 100 percent anyway.

In swing districts, where normally a sitting President’s endorsement and coattails would be great assets, any attachment to Obama will be electoral electrocution.

There is another camp, however, and it is growing in size and power daily. Their position is, “Obama got us (the Party) into this mess, he can’t get us out, so why stick with him.” Their attitude is that Team Obama is an elevator crashing to the electoral basement, but the DNC and the long-time organizational Democrats such as Congress members and Senators up for re-election can get off before the free-fall smashes into at the bottom.

Members of this group are an interesting cast of characters. First, there are the faceless long term DNC, DCCC and DSCC officials. They, like their Republican counterparts, are pledged to neither the candidate nor the candidate’s ideology. All they want is the winning candidate to have a “D” after his or her name and they would run Ted Kaczynski if they thought name recognition would be enough to ensure victory in some race.

So once they get past the inconceivable thought that Obama might not be their best candidate (inconceivable for about 15 seconds after they read the latest poll numbers), the question simply becomes, how do they (semi) gracefully get rid of Obama, and if not gracefully, then how do they throw him overboard, while pinning the blame on someone else.

The answer to that is driven by the makeup of second group of members of the oh-so-quiet Democratic Dump Obama movement. This is where the Democratic Stars are gathering. First, of course, are the Clintons. It is impossible to underestimate how deeply the Clintons hate the Obamas at the deepest and most visceral level. Their mutual hate runs deeper than the Hatfields vs. the McCoys, the Kennedys vs. Johnson (or Onasis), deeper even than Captain Kirk vs. the Klingons.

The Clintons and their acolytes see Team Obama is stealing the 2008 Presidential election from Hillary. She, not Obama was supposed to be the Democratic Anointed One. Hillary in the White House was to supposed to ensure a return to a combination of Clintonian prosperity, Camelot and wink-wink, boys will be boys in the back room again.

But along came Obama…. and Hillary never made it to the finals. He tossed her the Secretary of State job and she hoped to strengthen her credentials there. But then Obama’s far-left Czars took over every meaningful portfolio and Hillary was relegated to the backwater of second and third world foreign relations.

But never underestimate a woman scorned, and Hillary and Bill see themselves as having been scorned, scorched and screwed…. and they want revenge.

Another former big-time political player who wants back in the major leagues is Jessie Jackson. Five years ago Jackson, along with Al Sharpton, was first among equals in the Black leadership. Obama wasn’t even on the radar. But when Obama rode Jackson’s hometown Chicago political machine and methods to victory, Jackson was iced out. Think about it, when was the last time you heard the Rev. Jesse on the network news, riding in on a white horse to save Black people…. and his vision of a welfare-driven America with them. In the world of racial politics, you are either a rising star, or a burned out meteor crashing back to earth. There is no middle ground, and Jackson has been subterranean for three years. Jackson’s personal detestation of Obama is almost as strong as the Clintons. Remember Jackson’s remark, caught on a live FOXNews microphone that Jackson was going to “”cut his [Barack Obama’s] nuts off” and accusing the fellow Chicagoan of “talking down to black folks!”

So how do they get Obama to become so unelectable that he must pull a Lyndon Johnson and refuse to run again? It’s very simple, they keep doing exactly what they are doing.

Following the old adage that when an enemy is trying to hang themselves, never wrestle them for the rope, senior Democrats are letting Obama dangle in the Washington wind. His Jobs Bill was so unpopular, Dems had to scramble for weeks to find a sponsor in the Senate. Even on the night Obama gave his “second edition of the 2012 State of the Union Speech,” when he addressed a joint session of Congress in support of the Jobs Bill, Dem media interviews afterwards were rather muted and purposely uninspired. Nancy Pelosi can usually be counted on for a ringing endorsement of anything Obama, but this time, she barely wiggled the meter.

Once Obama’s public support continues it’s descent into embarrassing levels, they will strike. The official state of the End of Obamaism can come in two ways. A b-team Democrat may challenge him in the primaries, from the left, just to show how weak he is. Ralph Nader even suggested this recently. This candidate would have no chance of winning, but would be the grey man to allow Dem primary voters to express their dissatisfaction with Obama. Who could that candidate be? All together class, can we all say “Crazy Congressman Dennis Kucinich.” Kucinich is elected from Ohio, but in reality he is more attuned to represent the people of Pluto or perhaps Cambodia when it was under the Reign of the Khmer Rouge. Kucinich probably viewed the move “Killing Fields” as a bit overreaching, but altogether, a rather good training film.

No one would ever call Kucinich “mainstream.” Crazy Dennis, who is shorter than Yoda, thinks we should replace the U.S. Military with the Department of Peace and the world will be all right again. Yes, Kucinich is that far out. His candidacy would be a combination of a Cirque du Soleil show and a remake of the Chinese Cultural Revolution under Madame Mao.

But his candidacy would have a purpose of other than winning. It’s clear purpose would be to show the world that Dems to not support Obama any longer. The far-left whackos would be with Kucinich, Jesse Jackson would instruct the Black vote to either support the anti-Obama candidate, or more probably, to just stay home on primary day, and the Reid-Pelosi cabal would give Obama endorsements, but anyone with even 20/5000 vision would be able to read between the lines and see that Reid and Pelosi want Obama gone.

Once that happens, or even without it (especially if donations are very slow), the Democratic Death Committee will come calling at the White House. It will be an evening, and they will come in through a back door so as to not been seen.

The committee will in many ways parallel the group that told Nixon it was over; Senators Goldwater and Baker, former Congressman Charlie Halleck, a then-rather unknown Congressman and RNC Chair named George H.W. Bush and a few others. For Obama it would probably be Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, Deborah Wasserman-Schultz, a prominent Black (probably John Lewis or James Clyburn) and of course, Jimmy Carter to share the message of how good it is to be a former president.

Of course, the actual Political Death Committee’s makeup is not that important. When they arrive, Obama will know. It’s like when the doorbell rings at 1:30 A.M. and it’s two State Troopers and a priest at the door. You know what the message is before they say the first word. You know they are not there to tell you that you have won the Publishers’ Clearing House Sweepstakes.

Their message will be gentle but very firm, “Mr. President, if you run, you will lose, and you will lose badly. If you do, you will take the House, probably the Senate, many state races, and perhaps the party with you. We cannot allow that to happen. If you run, it’s not that we don’t want to be behind you; it’s that we can’t be behind you.”

“Of course, if you choose to retire, you will become a much in-demand Elder Statesman. Look at Lyndon Johnson. He went from the most hated man in America to a “reasonable statesman” with one “I will not run again” speech.”

Carter will tell about the money and the perks. Pelosi and Reid will congratulate him on a good try, and the designated Black will serve it up straight; “we cannot set Martin’s message back 20 years by having you run again…. and commit political suicide in the process.”

Of course, Michelle will rant and rave, (Obama will probably have her there in hope of dissuading the committee from its fateful message,) but to no avail.

So what happens then?

It’s very simple, the media and the Great Unwashed will demand Hillary, who will have not gotten her lily white hands dirty in this whole political coup mess. Her campaign will be a mirror of Reagan’s 1980 Morning in America, and she will be a very formidable candidate.

What happens next is anyone’s guess. Interestingly, such events would greatly strengthen Newt Gingrich’s hand, but it’s all too uncertain at this point.

In closing, if you say it can’t happen, it’s already started. Hillary got another face lift over Labor Day, Bill has a book out criticizing Obama, and is also being a very good boy, and there are ongoing meetings in DC. Hillary just had a fabulous cover picture on Time Magazine, looking very presidential. Old friends and fiends at network say her PR people are laying the groundwork for extensive long-form interviews. She has already spent hours with one network.

These are not the actions of a Secretary of State. These are the actions of a woman totally committed to her own election in 2012. The Obama side is very aware of Hillary’s plans. That’s why they released the story and photos of the Russian FSB agents talking with some of her handlers, trying to get close to Hillary. They were trying to dirty her up a bit, but to no avail.

It has started. Will it be concluded as described above. That depends on many things, including all the players playing their parts as predicted, and the ‘courage’ of the hardcore party Democrats…. but many of those Dems are convinced it will happen.

My best guess? 50/50 to 70/30, in “favor” of Hillary and Bill.

One important note, please. Do not let your Conservative leanings discount this, or the likelihood that the Great Unwashed will fall for it.

This not a time for denial.

This is a time to prepare

Does Hillary want a floor fight for the nomination at the Convention?

I think this plan has been in motion for over a month. The trick is to get a Republican foil to bring the eligibility issue to a head so that they can keep the black vote on the plantation. My vote goes to Trump to play that ego trip.

I don’t think Hillary will run as VP for obama. The Clinton’s took the hit and played second fiddle when Hillary agreed to be his SOS. And you know that had to get Billy’s goat.

There was a Saudi Prince, years back, who sounded so similar, though I can't remember his name.

Rush nailed it the other day.

You have to think of the Democrats as an organized crime syndicate, because that's what they are.

Organized crime requires an... Buehler? ORGANIZATION. Right!

All Ubama ever organized was election fraud. He thinks he made it on his own. He thinks he can be his own one-man crime syndicate.

He is about to find out how real organized crime syndicates operate.

And with any luck, one fine day in a few years, when Ubama is a janitor at the UN, he will suddenly find himself asleep with the fishes.

"I think the Clintons are making it clear that they are different on the economy so the can run against Romney in 2016."

Succinct. And jaw-dropping amazing that a pair "Third Way" Fabianists actually have to go to the trouble to distinguish themselves from a kaputnik Marxist and his looney cadre.

That the Democrat Party has to replay the asinine Bolshevik internecine warfare from 100 years ago! What rotten kabuki theater -- 4 years lost to eternity because of a thoroughly discredited political philosophy.
