(AP) -- The White House says Commerce Secretary John Bryson will take a medical leave as he undergoes tests and evaluations after suffering a seizure in connection with two traffic accidents in the Los Angeles.
White House press secretary Jay Carney said in a statement Monday that President Barack Obama's thoughts were with Bryson and his family.
The department said Bryson suffered a seizure on Saturday and had "limited recall" of the events related to

Obama gives this guy medical leave for not being able to recall the accidents he had, yet fired IG Gerald Walpin for allegedly being confused at a meeting. One article states that Bryson hit a car, spoke to the cars' occupants, then hit the car again as he drove off. Seizure my ass.
Sounds like “Kremlin Flu”.
Bryson hitting a car. Hitting the car again. Talking to the driver. Leaving the scene. Hitting a different car and being found unconscious... does not sound remotely like the seizures I witnessed!
I hope he finds what ails him and is healed or gets relief.

No, the real question is, why, if he had a seizure, did he get back in the vehicle and flee the scene, instead of waiting for medical attention.
I’m not a big cop fan, but they have developed a few gems of wisdom over the years that tend to hold up pretty well. One of them is: guilty people run.
Yes, and then he hit ANOTHER car a few minutes down the road in another township before being discovered unconscious by the police. If this was a seizure, they need to study him, because nobody in recorded medical history has ever had a seizure of this nature before.
Of course he will go on medical leave right after Issa decides to probe the 1.5 billion dollar loan guarantee his company received.

“Thoughts may mean get well wishes or be a euphemism for prayers used when addressing a mixed group some of whom are not religious. Its probably not something that merits getting overly picky about.”
No? “Thoughts” implies anything from positive vibes to ESP to concern. To paraphrase Flannery O’Connor, “the hell with ‘thoughts.’” If it’s mentioned WITH prayers, okay, I get it. If it’s mentioned INSTEAD of prayers, it’s downright offensive.
I guess if you’re really bent on reading something sinister into it, you could. For myself, it suffices that the thoughts COULD be something good and meaning something; similar to the reason we send people get well cards.
First I hope his health improves, if it is in fact health related. Second, and more interesting to me, is that no one knew this guy. You would think with the economy in this state, the Commerce Secretary would be more visible, active. This guy has brought zero value to the recovery.
The Commerce of the US is apparently “fine”, according to Zer0.
“You! Bryson! You screwed up! You know the drill...under the bus now!”
“One article states that Bryson hit a car, spoke to the cars’ occupants, then hit the car again as he drove off. Seizure my ass.”
Then went off and hit ANOTHER (unrelated) car! Three strikes, yer out!
There are some partial seizures that do leave you conscious, but altered. Then partial seizures can then become generalized into a full blown grand mal.
There is not a one size fits all with seizures.
I would think he would have an abnormal EEG if that was the case.
Also, do they know if he was on anti-seizure medication and forgot to take it. That can also trigger seizures.
Of course, all of this is frightening to me because my 15 year old daughter is about to start driving. We also are taking her off of meds because she hasn’t had a seizure in years. Seizures are scary.
