Jun 16, 2012 Romneys Bus Tour Hits Speed Bump, Reroutes Due to Protesters
QUAKERTOWN, Pa. The Romney bus tour hit a speed bump today when more than a hundred protesters showed up at a gas station where the presumptive GOP presidential candidate was scheduled to make a stop, and the candidates motorcade quickly rerouted to another location just three miles away.
Romney himself acknowledged the change in venue his fourth scheduled stop on a five-day, six-state bus tour while shaking hands with voters inside a WaWa gas station.
I was asked, I think you asked me, why were at this Wawa, instead of the other WaWa? I understand I had a surrogate over there already, so we decided to pick a different place, said Romney, who when initially asked about the change had joked that he had moved just to get a good sandwich.
My surrogate is former Gov. Rendell, who said we could win Pennsylvania, Romney said. Im happy to hear that, so were happy to be here and see some folks here.
Despite Romneys characterization of Ed Rendell, the former Democratic Pennsylvania governor is campaigning for President Obama in Pennsylvania. Romney was referring to an interview with Bloomberg News Bloomberg View that Rendell gave in which he the president would not win major sections of the battleground state.
According to local reports, Rendell, along with 150 to 200 anti-Romney protesters, had shown up at the original gas station to tout Obamas message, speaking ahead of when Romney was scheduled to arrive.

Obama-bots disrupting Romney campaign stops won’t help Obama at all, especially if Romney continues to laugh them off and doesn’t get rattled. Americans don’t like bully tactics and if this becomes a pattern, as it probably will, Romney surrogates can paste the ‘bully’ label on them and as long as Romney remains cool about it, that will resonate with undecided voters.
anyone ever read “Misunderestimated”? Those leftist disrupters are a little taste of Hell.
Well it’s a good think it didn’t explode like they wanted ti to.

You’ve got that right.
Bouncing around liberal websites makes me feel more and more that they actually want trouble and are disappointed when it doesn’t come.
Telling, no?
Rendall wanted to tout obamas message.. maybe I missed something but I have not heard his message or his platform..
Obama’s message= Socialism, Sodomy, Death Panels, Amnesty, Lobster and Cake for Moochella...
Comments on ABC website are disgusting. Liberals are brain dead robots.
Scott Walker comes to mind....
Romney and his people show a good grasp of campaign tactics. Quick on their feet. Kudos to them.

Agreed that it will get ugly but I’m thinking some union thug or occupy doofus/black block anarchist will toss a molotov cocktail at the campaign bus . Possibly at a Romney for President rally as well the left is not known for it’s impulse control.
Yeah, but did you hear a reporter axed the Premier a question? Now that is inciting violence.
Pray for America
