The parents that really do EDUCATE their kids get an earful from the schools - and most parents in that situation have NO CLUE that the purpose of the schools is to EQUALIZE, not educate, and sending a smart kid there messes up that goal.

Not to mention that in CA, kids will be taught to submit to adult male homos looking to “love” a little boy.
Lawsuits should be filed for intentional infliction of emotional distress. This would appear to qualify.
The parents need to sue the school district, plain and simple. They must, it is their duty. Their children were insulted and assaulted. If a kid doesn’t have to say the pledge to our flag, they surely do not have to participate in these types of activities that insult their religion.
Please sue.
