20% ??

how about 50%

that’s what i’m forced to pay, under threat of violence, from my own wages as i’m self employed.

it’s just awesome. and what do i get for all that money?

well, umm... military? yes, 20% goes to military.
pay off the debt? not really.. we just pay the interest... with 5% of the budget
ummm... federal roads? yes. 10% of the fed budget goes to infrastructure and govt projects

and what’s the other 65% you ask?

entitlements.

money being ripped right out of your hands and given directly to other people that have no relation to you and, many times, don’t even live in your state.

quality.

“No business wants to invest in a place where the government skims 20 percent off the top”

Nor do we who are employed by those businesses, want our paychecks skimmed by 20% off the top... by government taxes, fines and “mandates”.

BTW, I have a budget, and my employer has a budget, but for the last three, now going on 4 years, the Federal government has not passed a budget.
The money the government operates with, is based on the money I, and my employer pay, via taxes.

What's up with that, President Obama, elected Senators, elected Representatives of the House, and the appointed for life judges of the Supreme Court?

Couldn’t you give a little more context than this. I refuse to go to that site. And I wouldn’t think a site we are paying for could complain about excerpting
.
