The only impediment to One World Government(OWG)is the US Constitution. The only impediment IN the US Constitution is the 2nd Amendment.

OWG is the goal. All the craziness we see now is orchestrated to that end. Be prepared for the finale.

They’re going to “ram” something through 67 votes? I doubt it. Even if the duck is lame.

According to Morris, treaty will be rammed through by the lame duck Senate after the November election if the Democrats are still in charge.

Big woop. What can be agreed to by one Senate can be withdrawn from by another, assuming this years crop of Pubbies has two stones apiece to call on. How long would the treaty be in effect, 30 days? Plus, I think it takes a super-super-majority in the Senate to adopt a treaty anyway, like 66 votes or something like that. Course Harry the Asshat will just claim he can ratify treaties in reconciliation with 51 votes. No matter -- if you can ratify in reconciliation you can un-ratify in reconciliation.

Consider the plausibility of this scenario:

Congress passes a bill relating to weapons, such as:
outlawing ownership of more than a hundred assault weapons, or banning private ownnership of shoulder-held rocket launchers. Or some such thing that RINOs will be afraid to vote against in an election year. Someone (possibly a plant) contests this to the Supreme Court.

Chief Justice Roberts, writing for the majority, decides that the 2nd amendment means ‘the people (i.e. the government)’ has the right to bear arms, but NOT INDIVIDUALS.

Gun ownership would be immediately banned, without Congress having any say in the matter.

We now have precedence that this is how our system works. THIS PRECEDENT CANNOT STAND!

Roberts has become the Judge, Jury, and Executioner of our country.

And we have enabled it by not immediately initiating impeachment.

Are we so naiive as to think the other shoe is not about to drop, presumably soon after Roberts emerges from hiding? Are we just going to continue to allow our rights, liberty and freedom to be usurped?

Consider the source. When was the last time Dick Morris was right about ANYTHING??

He's actually correct once a decade. He's already used up the current one.

nder the authority of the United States, shall be the supreme law of the land; and the judges in every state shall be bound thereby, anything in (the constitution or laws of any state) to the contrary notwithstanding.

I think it's a common misreading that causes confusion around this issue. The phrase  you highlighted above is often misread as "the Constitution, or laws of any state", with the comma greatly changing the meaning, which could be restated as "the constitution of any state, or laws of any state".

Of course, for people who can't even understand a simple declarative of "the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed", it's easy to see how they could make that mistake.

None of this matters. The Senate has to have a two-thirds vote in favor to ratify a treaty. The last time I looked, the RATs are no where near that number, thanks to the voters in 2010! It will be interesting to see who on the RAT side actually votes for this nonsense. I’ll bet dinner that the RATs who are standing for re-election (23 I believe) will run from it unless they are in a deep blue district. But let’s hope that they take the bait from FUBO and do vote for it, because it will just be more nails in their electoral coffins. Come on Claire, vote for it!

I’m curious....has Dick Morris EVER been right about ANYTHING? He always makes bold predictions and very few of them ever work out like he says they will.

They have not thought this out all the way, cops are not soldiers, they will not take the number of KIA needed to take all guns away from the hard-cores. Most SWAT team are a very small percentage of officers and they can only mount an operation once or twice a day with all of the planning involved. Plus, they very rarely lose any team members as no shots are normally fired in most raids and most of the shots that are fired at them are from pistols rather than rifles that can go thru body armor.

U.S. Constitution, Article 2, Section 2, Clause 2: [The President] ...”shall have Power, by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, to make Treaties, provided two thirds of the Senators present concur;”

The operative word here is “present.” The Vice President, as President of the Senate, can and probably will call a special session of the Senate consisting of himself, Chucky Shumer, Diane Feinstein and any other anti-gun members to vote on this treaty. The special session will be held in the middle of the night on a holiday weekend when Congress is all but closed down. Think December 23 or 24 of this year.

Democrats are salivating at the prospect of a disarmed population. Disarmed of course means the law-abiding are disarmed while the criminals still find ways to get guns.

Democrats also want more legalized marijuana and medical marijuana. A stoned population will tend to vote for the “kewl” Democrats who the “kewl” Hollywood actors are supporting like George Cloony, it don’t get any hipper than that.
Stoned and disarmed and sucking off the Gov’t tit is how Democrats want you to go through life

Well Homeland Security, Holder etc. plus the new help from UN are all gearing up to stop that eventuality. Maybe the last hope is military wises up and takes charge. Where is Al Haig when his country needs him?

I think this is mindless Morris speculation. No way there are enough Senate votes for this.

Depends on how many Lugar's there are after the election. I predict LOST will be ratified.

So the 2014 Population Reduction Treaty, in which all countries promise to 'liquidate' eighty-percent of their population, would be okay?

Maybe not Laz, but it is short sighted to not see that these vermin want to reduce the world population, and I don't think they care how it is done.

Materialistic loons think you are no different than a tree, only less valuable. Have we not seen this enough times in history to believe that they will do it again?

“A treaty, of course, supercedes the U.S. Constitution. Interesting months ahead.”

Not really it takes one of these to do that.
